The Turmoil is a 1916 silent film drama based on a novel by Booth Tarkington. It was produced by Metro Pictures and stars stage actress Valli Valli.[1]

This film has been preserved by MGM.[2]

The Tarkington novel was filmed again in 1924 by Universal Pictures.
