Rich The Kid

Dimitri Roger (born July 13, 1992), better known by his stage name Rich The Kid is an American rapper from Woodstock, Georgia. In 2014, he released his debut EP, Rich Than Famous.

Early life

Dimitri Roger was born at Mercy Hospital in Queens, New York. He is of Haitian descent and grew up speaking Haitian Creole fluently. When he was 11, his parents split up and his dad stayed in New York while he and his mom moved to Woodstock, Georgia, because he was getting into a lot of trouble. Roger was always a class clown in school. He listened to Nas, Jay Z, Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., and 50 Cent when he was in Queens. Once he got to Atlanta, he started to get into T.I. and Jeezy. Roger once got fired from Wendys, for coming in high on the drug his manager served him. His first name was Black Boy The Kid, but when he started to get money he changed it to Rich The Kid.

Career

2013–14: Been About the Benjamins, Street On Lock series and Rich Than Famous

In 2013, Roger announced he was going to release his debut solo mixtape, Been About The Benjamins, March 1 on Livemixtapes.com. He also released a collaborative mixtape series with Migos called Streets On Lock, they've released volume 1 and 2 in 2013 and volume 3 in 2014. Roger was featured in the mixtape by the Quality Control Music label called Solid Foundation which was hosted by DJ Drama and released on February 2, 2014. His second solo mixtape called, Feels Good To Be Rich which was released on August 14, 2014 and featured other artists such as Young Thug, Rockie Fresh, Kirko Bangz, Yo Gotti, Riff Raff, and more. On November 4, 2014, Rich The Kid released the single "On My Way" featuring GS9 artists, Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel to promote his debut EP, Rich Than Famous. It was later released on Christmas Day.

Swerve

Swerve was a flavored and vitamin-fortified dairy drink introduced in 2003 by The Coca-Cola Company. It contained 51% skim milk, was sweetened by a blend of sugar and sucralose, and provided 30% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamins A, C & D and Calcium. It was available in three flavors: a vanilla-banana flavor called Vanana, a blueberry-strawberry flavor called Blooo, and a Chocolate drink flavor. It was most often found in school cafeterias.

Despite its eventual marketing as a children's beverage, Swerve was initially designed for the alcopop market, designed to be an alternative to Smirnoff Ice in warm-weather climates where dairy consumption was traditionally high. The first version of Swerve contained L. acidophilus cultures and 8.5% abv. The name "swerve" was suggested for its use in professional wrestling where the predetermined outcome of an event is changed by the booker without the knowledge of the participants. The original formulation, called "Original Yogurt Blast Swerve" contained all the great taste of plain yogurt with the alcoholic kick of a high gravity lager. This version of swerve was first packaged in 12 ounce and 16 ounce cans, as well as quart-sized bottles. The consistency of the beverage was described by Harper's Weekly as "not unlike a homemade alcoholic Go-Gurt."

Mike Will Made It

Michael Len Williams II (born March 23, 1989), professionally known as Mike Will Made It (often stylized as Mike WiLL Made-It) or simply Mike Will, is an American record producer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. He is best known for producing trap beats for several Southern hip hop artists as well as for producing several hit singles, such as "Mercy" by GOOD Music, "No Lie" by 2 Chainz, "Bandz a Make Her Dance" by Juicy J, "Pour It Up" by Rihanna, Faded by Mariah Carey, "Love Me" by Lil Wayne, "Body Party" by Ciara and "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus, among others. He has released four mixtapes while his debut album is long delayed.

Early life

Michael Williams was born in Marietta, Georgia, the youngest of three children with two older sisters. Mike Will's mother was in a gospel group, singing for Dottie Peoples, when Mike was young and according to Mike Will, his uncle was an accomplished guitar player. Growing up, Mike Will was athletic, participating in a number of sports, including basketball, baseball, and football, with dreams of becoming a professional athlete. As a teenager, Mike Will first developed his talent for music by re-playing popular instrumentals that he heard on the radio while he and his friends would freestyle to them. In a number of interviews, Mike WiLL has mentioned, in particular, re-playing the instrumental for "Still Fly", a popular song by the southern rap group Big Tymers, on a Casio brand keyboard, and has also mentioned re-playing the song "Young'n (Holla Back)" by New York rapper Fabolous on production equipment at a local music store.
