As two Australians living in Britain, the couple wanted their wedding to reflect their London life and their outdoorsy upbringing in Sydney, leading them to pick Syon Park for its beautiful estate.
-
The Lanvin gown chosen by the bride had a deceptively simple strapless front, which hid an oversized bow at the back.
"I've always loved bows - it's like you're the present," said Israel.

Shoes: Christian Louboutin (ceremony) and Valentino (reception)

Despite the formal setting, the pair wanted the wedding to have more of a fun and casual vibe.
"We wanted it to be more like a midsummer's night party than a wedding," said Israel.
-
To counteract the formality of the historic setting, the couple picked a few different music performers and music styles for the wedding to give each portion of the day and venue a unique atmosphere.
-
The pair eschewed traditional save-the-dates and wedding invitations, choosing instead to send out a mini-film put together by the film editor groom as a save-the-date and origami-style folded wedding invitations.

The brief for the wedding flowers was "classic English summer flowers," and included hydrangeas and roses in large urns; potted centrepieces made up of white hydrangeas, green strawberries and moss decorated the conservatory for the dinner.
-
The stunning domed conservatory added to the estate in the 1820s housed the reception.
-
A pianist played cabaret-style tunes throughout dinner to keep the mood light and the couple made sure to have their favourite Mariage Frères tea on the menu.
