FAIRFAX MEDIA RETAIL CONSUMER STUDY 2015

A study was conducted by GFK on behalf of Fairfax Media aimed to uncover how Australian consumer shop for key product categories, the pre-purchase stages and the role Fairfax Media plays in the consumer journey, the results showed:

  • There are three distinct pre-purchase stages in the consumer journey
  • Consumers turn to Fairfax publications in each of these stages
  • More than 1 in 2 readers agree: “Fairfax mastheads inspire me and give me ideas for things to buy for myself and others
