While her supporters continue to protest on the streets, and pen angry and frightened Facebook statuses (or, in Michelle Obama's case, make awkward small talk about good high schools near the White House) Hillary Clinton appears to be just taking some time out after her shock election loss on Tuesday.
A day after the Democratic presidential hopeful conceded defeat to Donald Trump and gave a press conference in front of her supporters, Clinton has been spotted walking her dog near her home in Chappaqua, New York.
"My office is not far from where the Clintons live. My paralegal's old roommate (in blue) just sent her this picture of a chance encounter on a hike today," New York resident Gregory Locke captioned the picture, which he uploaded publicly to his account.
Locke added that the picture made him "really, really happy".
Many Facebook users appear to share the sentiment: in the hour since it was posted, the photo has received over 12,000 likes and been shared close to 1500 times.
