That brings Melbourne Express to a close this Remembrance Day.
Enjoy your weekend.
Hopefully we'll see you at the Night Noodle Markets!

Time to reveal our mystery station.
And ... today it's Bentleigh station, which has recently undergone a major refurbishment.
Well, everything except the bike cage ...

Or is this a plugger?
Pluggers v Thongs
This Queenslander just called thongs "pluggers" (see reference to the summertime footwear in previous post).
I have been quickly shouted down in the newsroom.
I'm told with authority that thongs are not pluggers, and pluggers are not thongs.
But Urban Dictionary agrees with me ...
31 degrees next Thursday
Bust out the singlets and thongs! Could we finally get a taste of summer?!
This is the bureau's forecast for next Wednesday and Thursday ...
No parking, just trains
A 13-storey tower proposed to be built on top of Ormond railway station could have minimal car parking to encourage its expected 600 residents to use public transport.
The proposal has not been universally embraced by Ormond residents, some of whom have set up a lobby group against it.

Versace smash and grab
Back to our main story today ...
Police are still hunting two thieves who stole $50,000 worth of watches from Le Style Boutique on Little Collins Street in Melbourne back in July.
They were only in the store for five seconds.
Do you recognise this thieving duo?
Today's Odd Spot
French comedian and internet prankster Remi Gaillard will today lock himself in a dog kennel at Montpellier animal shelter and stay there until 300 of the shelter's animal residents have been adopted or the charity has received $A81,000 in donations, whichever comes first. His uncomfortable stay will be live-streamed on Facebook.
Singles Day
What is Singles Day you ask?
Singles Day started as an obscure "anti-Valentine's" celebration for single people in China back in the 1990s.
It was then adopted by e-commerce giant Alibaba (China's Amazon equivalent) and it has now become a day when everyone, regardless of their single status buys themselves gifts.
Alibaba Group has posted $US1 billion ($1.3 billion) of sales within the first five minutes. Read more here.
Remembrance Day services
Today, Australia will pause to reflect on the lives that were lost during wars at 11am.
The service at the Shrine of Remembrance will begin about 10.30am, with the one minute of silence observed from 11am. Students will then lay wreaths to commemorate the fallen.
There will also be services at war memorials across Melbourne. Many schools and businesses will also observe the moment of silence.
There will also be services at:
Frankston RSL Memorial, 183 Cranbourne Road Frankston, from 10.45am
Johnstone Park Peace Memorial, Geelong, from 10.40am
Ballarat Cenotaph, Sturt Street Ballarat, from 10.30am.
Mystery station clue
One eagle-eyed reader has already recognised today's mystery train station.
And, he has sent in a photo of what the station looked like a year ago ...
