Footscray Night Market: Every Thursday Night in November, 4PM - 8.30PM Footscray Station Forecourt
TO MARKET TO MARKET: Melbourne loves a night market, and here's another one added to its repertoire. For four glorious weeks in November, Footscray Station will be transformed at twilight into a bustling night market, offering hawker-style food, stalls, eclectic entertainment and music. Running each Thursday night from 4pm - 8.30pm, there'll be entertainment, music, stalls and of course food - from Japanese to Ethiopian, Malaysian to good old fashioned burgers.
THE SWEET LIFE: One of our callers mentioned this one last week on the program. November 19 and 20, wineries in the King Valley will host the "La Dolce Vita" festival, a weekend celebrating that region's rich Italian culture. FOCUS ON FLEMINGTON: This week the focus is clearly on Flemington and surrounds, so I asked local Scorcher Davidson for some of his hidden gems.
