The ESIGNET Project (Evolving Cell Signaling Networks in Silicon) is an interdisciplinary research consortium that is supported and funded by the European Commission.

Scientists and Researchers at the project are experts at the intersection of computer science and cell biology. Thy apply methods and understandings from evolutionary computation with the goal of studying the computational properties of cell signaling networks. The project's research also has major implications to the fields of nano-technology and intelligent drug delivery.
