October 25, 2016 episode of Married at First Sight season 4 episode 14 started off with a look at the couples getting ready for decision day! Needless to say, they are all extremely stressed and nervous about what’s going to happen and whether their spouse is going to be on the same page as them with their decision. Before we get to the decision, we take a look at the days leading into decision day. As we all know, Sonia put her ring back on, but she still hasn’t moved back into the house with Nick. Meanwhile, Tom and Lillian are doing an activity called a vision board, it’s a way for them to map out where they see their life heading and this leads them both questioning how things are going to end up. Sonia and Nick are also doing the vision board and they seem to be having a lot of fun doing this together. They have also learned a lot about each other as they discuss what they want in their future. Both couples are having a hard time deciding whether they want to stay married or get divorced, each couple has had their ups and downs. They each call someone close to them looking for advice on what they think they should do. Each of the friends they call have some great words of wisdom for them, but will they decide to stay with the marriage in the end? We then look at each couple, including Derek & Heather and how their relationships have gone so far. Derek and Heather ended their relationship after only a week of being married. It’s the first time in the history of the show that this has happened. Derek is out mingling with his friends and Heather goes out with a friend. Derek seems to be ready to start dating again, even took his wedding band off. Heather tells her friend that she’s also ready to start dating again, but it’s not her number one priority at this point in her life. Sonia has shown up to Nick’s house with her bags and when she goes inside, she tells Nick that she has decided to move back in. Nick is really happy about this and he gives her a little gift. It’s a photo collage of all the pictures that they have taken since their honeymoon. He really put a lot of thought into it and Sonia is really impressed that he put something like this together for her. She’s still scared of getting hurt, but that comes with every relationship when you have insecurities. Tom and Lillian are trying to unwind before decision day by having a bonfire outside with smores. Also, the couples are giving gifts to each other to try symbolize their marriages and Sonia turned her gift into a joke. She gave him cactus boxers, because he’s been a bit of a…you can finish that sentence. She also got him a shirt with the poop emoji on it, well because he’s been a bit of a sh…..too. Nick gets Sonia a necklace and a really sweet card. Lillian and Tom get each other gifts that show each other how much they mean to each other, but you can tell that they are both still really nervous about decision day. To try and lighten the mood, Lillian decides that she is going to put on a matching outfit to Tom’s just to make him laugh a little bit. Once they get into their room and ready for bed, things go a little south with their conversation and Lillian is even more worried about Tom’s decision. They both seem very torn about what they want. Nick and Sonia are having the most open conversation they could possibly have with each other. They are both extremely introverted and are still learning how to talk to each other, but they seem to be making headway. Nick really seems to want to stay with her, but she seems like she is still really worried about what will happen if she stays. It is decision time for both the couples and the tension can be cut with a knife! Nick and Sonia are up first and after telling the experts what they have gotten out of their relationships thus far. Nick is asked if he wants to stay married or get divorced and he tells Sonia that he wants to stay married. Sonia tells him that he has done a lot to make her lose trust in him, but she would also like to stay married to Nick and continue to work on their marriage!!! Now it is time for Tom and Lillian to make their decision, but first they are telling the experts what they have gotten out of their marriage thus far. Tom talks about how moving out of the bus has been a big change for him and Lillian has really had enough talk about the bus. Rachel also brings up babies and how they are not on the same page when it comes to when and if they want children. Now it is time for their decision and Lillian goes first and she tells Tom that she would like for them to give themselves the opportunity to grow in love, but she has decided that she would like to stay married to him! It’s now time for Tom to tell Lillian what he has decided and he tells her that his biggest concern is that if he isn’t happy, then he can’t make her happy. He tells her that he has decided that he wants to stay married as well!
