Kaplan banned for 12 months over improper conduct

Leading harness owner Harvey Kaplan has been banned from owning horses for 12 months and fined $20,000 on an improper conduct charge for a text message he sent to trainer-driver Nathan Jack, who is faced with a show cause notice relating to a Goulburn race on Australia Day in 2015.
