Local stores will begin their Black Friday events at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.

Labor activist group OUR Walmart is planning protests outside Walmart stores throughout the two weeks leading up to Black Friday. The group’s website does not currently list any protests in our area.

Walmart plans to offer wristbands for certain items, and interactive store maps to help keep shoppers organized at Black Friday events. It will also allow customers to make appointments for Walmart’s wireless phone offer while they are on Thanksgiving night.

Walmart’s website will start offering deals at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time Thanksgiving Day. That means shoppers in Arkansas will be able to access the deals at 11:01 p.m. Wednesday night, just before Thanksgiving.

Here are some highlights from Walmart’s in-store Black Friday offers:

Playstation 4 Slim Uncharted 4 500GB bundle for $249 plus a $30 gift card.
