A staple, reinvented.

Regardless of whether you’ve travelled business class or not, almost every Australian seems to have gotten their hands on a pair of Qantas’ pajamas.

Well, now the world’s most comfortable souvenir has gotten a fresh update, with a new and improved version of the Business-class pyjamas to match the brand’s updated logo - designed by Marc Newson and rolling out on all Qantas planes from 2020.

Although remaining grey, the pjyamas’s will feature the new Qantas logo - but with a twist. The logo will now be changed from the standard black to a navy blue.

Also new is the raglan-style top with a more relaxed fit, and a drawstring attached to the pant.

And so no one will forget which airline you’re on - the word Qantas will now be printed on the back of the shirt.

“They’ve become part of the inflight dress code with about 95 per cent of people not only wearing them on board, but also taking them home,” Qantas Head of Customer Product and Service Development, Phillip Capps said today.

The new look pjyamas will be rolling out in Business class flights from next Tuesday.

If they’re good enough for Martin Grant, they’re good enough for us!
