Natural Resources are all that exists without the actions of humankind. This includes all natural characteristics such as magnetic, gravitational, and electrical properties and forces. On earth we include sunlight, atmosphere, water, land (includes all minerals) along with all vegetation and animal life that naturally subsists upon or within the heretofore identified characteristics and substances.
Particular areas such as "The rainforest in Fatu-Hiva" are often characterized by the biodiversity and geodiversity existent in their ecosystems. Natural resources may be further classified in different ways. Natural resources are materials and components (something that can be used) that can be found within the environment. Every man-made product is composed of natural resources (at its fundamental level). A natural resource may exist as a separate entity such as fresh water, and air, as well as a living organism such as a fish, or it may exist in an alternate form which must be processed to obtain the resource such as metal ores, mineral oil, and most forms of energy.
Natural Resources is a soul album released by Motown girl group Martha Reeves and the Vandellas in 1970 on the Gordy (Motown) label. The album is significant for the Vietnam War ballad "I Should Be Proud" and the slow jam, "Love Guess Who". The album marked a return from lead singer Martha Reeves, recovering from a time in a mental institution after an addiction to painkillers nearly wrecked her (though it still took her until 1977 to beat her addiction). This was the next-to-last album for the Vandellas, whose success had peaked in the mid-1960s.
An environmental ministry is a national or subnational government agency politically responsible for the environment and/or natural resources. Various other names are commonly used to identify such agencies, such as Ministry of the Environment, Department of the Environment, Department for the Environment, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Natural Resources, and so forth. Such agencies typically address environmental concerns such as the maintenance of environmental quality, nature preserves, the sustained use of natural resources, and prevention of pollution or contamination of the natural environment. Following is a list of environmental ministries by country:
Ontario (i/ɒnˈtɛərioʊ/) is one of the ten provinces of Canada, located in east-central Canada. It is Canada's most populous province by a large margin, accounting for nearly 40 percent of all Canadians, and is the second largest province in total area. Ontario is fourth largest in total area when the territories of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut are included. It is home to the nation's capital city, Ottawa, and the nation's most populous city, Toronto.
Ontario is bordered by the province of Manitoba to the west, Hudson Bay and James Bay to the north, and Quebec to the east, and to the south by the US states of (from west to east) Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. All of Ontario's 2,700 km (1,678 mi) border with the United States follows inland waterways: from the west at Lake of the Woods, eastward along the major rivers and lakes of the Great Lakes/Saint Lawrence River drainage system. These are the Rainy River, the Pigeon River, Lake Superior, the St. Marys River, Lake Huron, the St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River, Lake Erie, the Niagara River, Lake Ontario and along the St. Lawrence River from Kingston, Ontario, to the Quebec boundary just east of Cornwall, Ontario.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is a government ministry of the Canadian province of Ontario that is responsible for Ontario’s provincial parks, forests, fisheries, wildlife, mineral aggregates and the Crown lands and waters that make up 87 per cent of the province. Its offices are divided into Northwestern, Northeastern and Southern Ontario regions with the main headquarters in Peterborough, Ontario.
The current Ontario Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry is Bill Mauro.
The first government office was the Office of the Surveyor-General of the Northern District of North America, created in 1763 and initially headed by Samuel Holland. In 1827, this function was taken over by the newly created Commissioner of Crown Lands.
From 1867 to 1972, these responsibilities were conferred on the following Commissioners and Ministers:
From 1970, the Department of Mines became the Department of Mines and Northern Affairs, a predecessor of the current Ministry of Northern Development and Mines. The Department of Lands and Forests became the Ministry of Natural Resources in 1972. From 1995 to 1997 Natural Resources and Northern Development and Mines were under a single super ministry. In 2014 the ministry was renamed Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, but responsibilities did not change.

Ontario Government colludes with a multi-national 'green' energy company for the destruction of an eagle nest in Haldimand. The nest allegedly stands in the way of Ontario's Green Energy profits, and its desecration is intentionally scheduled for a January weekend, when the attack will be beyond reproach. On January 17, 2013, Hazel Hill, board member of the Haudenosaunee Development Institute, warned wind turbine company NextEra Energy Canada that such defilement of sacred Native wildlife will not be tolerated: "Our people, our Confederacy, our community, everybody is really upset about what happened over that eagle's nest being taken down, and you know that we're supposed to be in good faith negotiations through the HDI [Haudenosaunee Development Institute] and with NextEra, and that acti...

Scientists, researchers and resource managers in Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources are seeing changes which are likely a result of a changing climate. This video provides a collection of observations, with reflection on how to respond to a changing environment. Should efforts be made to resist these changes, or directed to mitigate the effects? How can managers manage resources which are in flux? This is the dilemma facing the government whose role it is to manage natural resources.

This is the official Ontario Turkey Hunting Course DVD content. As of January 1, 2017 the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) posted a proposal on Ontario’s Environmental Registry that would alter the wild turkey hunting regulations. This would include the elimination of the separate wild turkey hunter education course. Instead, the course content will be incorporated into the Ontario Hunter Education Program that all new hunters must pass. This video is provided for educational purposes only. Please check your local hunting regulations for updates and changes.
This video is part of a selection of presentations made at the joint review panel public hearings for the proposed Ontario Power Generation's (OPG) Deep Geologic Repository (DGR) project. The DGR project proposes a solution to the long-term management of low- and intermediate- level radioactive waste, by placing it in a storage space excavated in half-a-billion year-old sedimentary rock. The three-member panel conducted the hearing to assess OPG's environmental impact statement and application for a licence to prepare a site and construct the proposed DGR. The hearings ran from September 16 to October 12, 2013 and then from October 28 to 30, 2013 in Bruce County (Kincardine and Port Elgin), Ontario. Additional hearings were also held from September 9-18, 2014 in Kincardine, Ontario. All ...
