Anti-Trump protester who set off the secret service at a recent Trump rally has spoken out.

Austyn Crites was assaulted at the Trump rally after he held up a sign that was anti-Donald Trump.

He spoke with Neil Mitchell from Nevada in the US.

It was thought Austyn had a gun, but he says he didn't and doesn't know why people said he had one.

"I have no clue, I had the sign in the air for quite some time," says Austyn.

"Once I was taken down to the ground someone started yelling about a gun."

He was escorted from the rally by local officers.
