I’ve had such a hard time to come up with something to write about this one, just as I had with Anders Ångest. It’s really hard to put words to such greatness without using the usual killer and filler words, but everytime I try to make up which my favourite UK punk records are, this one is on the list wheter I try to make a top 10 or a top 5.
I could probably listen to nothing but the way the singer counts 1-2-3-4 in the start of Amory Buildings for the rest of my life! Is it even possible to sound more energetic and eager to start a song than that? And is it possible to hear that a person have an overbite? To me it sounds like he has. I simply L.O.V.E. the hectic way he spits out the lyrics. And that plunky bass, the paper thin drums and the cheap guitar sound! And the sax that pops up a bit in Amory building! And the farfisa organ in Leave me alone!
This is the second press by the way, the first press have red/ blue sleeve instead of red/ black, which means that this version is slightly cheaper. Sounds just a good though so why bother? And it’s a really clever package as well, the sleeve folds out like an unglued envelope!

great great great! All songs diverse and brilliant, esp. ‘leave me alone’. Only know these guys from a few songs on that roxy comp (or maybe it was the 100 club?) where they were nothing special. But this really is a classic – and bonus points for the guitarist sporting one of those egg shaped guitars – punk rock!
So awesome! This is one of those old punk bands that frustrate you when you realize it is their only release… I want to hear more!

They should’ve made it a 2 track 7″. Then it would’ve been brilliant. The b-side just don’t do it for me.
Kind of agree with you Peter, Don’t just dit there is OK but not much more. The other 3 are top notch though.
