Getting a taste of the WACA

There was a lot of fun and energy on the WACA ground as the kids took on the activities and played modified games of cricket.   After the activities finished the kids were part of fun theme based Q&A with Australian players Peter Siddle, Nathan Lyon, Mitch Marsh and Holly Ferling from the women’s team the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars.

They were able to see the importance of many aspects of cricket including having fun, learning fundamental skills, playing in a team and sportsmanship throughout the day.

MILO in2CRICKET & MILO T20 Blast provide kids the perfect opportunity to be part of Australia’s favourite sport and these lucky kids got to experience first-hand what it is like to play on one of Australia’s major cricket grounds.   To find out more and to register your kids for one of the junior programs, head to playcricket.com.au/learn.
