Plot: Kishen Kumar Chaudhary and Karan are family like friends, when Kishen's wife Mrs. Kaushalya gives birth to a baby boy Prem, Karan helps the couple bring up there child with out- most care. Years later the two friends have parted ways, Karan likes in a shanty house, works as a mechanic and is the father to a young girl Suman while Kishen is a wealthy industrialist and lives in a spacious bungalow. In order to accumulate huge sums of fund abroad for good living Karan decides to leave Suman in the care of the Chaudhary's family. All is well there for Suman as she is befriend by Prem which eventually blossom to love, Kaushalya finds out about Prem and Suman's relationship and approve of Suman as her daughter-in-law but Kishen is quite unhappy with the relationship as he have plans to get Prem marry to his business partner's daughter Seema thus he insults Suman and throw her out of his house. Karan returns and is enraged at the treatment his daughter receive and leaves the house immediately with his daughter. Prem too is unhappy with his dad's decision and he also leaves the house opting to marry Suman with the blessings of Karan. But Karan refuses to accept Prem and the only way Prem can win Karan's approval is if he prove that he can earn money by his own sweat.

Plot: Jailor Manmohan Krishan is responsible for looking after convicts undergoing sentences of rigorous imprisonment. He has a young, beautiful and captive daughter named Shalini. Plot: Grey-haired, comically parsimonious widower Gokulchand lives a middle-class lifestyle in Agra, India, runs a shop selling essential food items, along with his sons, Manohar and Kishore. While Manohar is employed and married to Devki, and has two children, Roopa and Munna, Kishore is studying Engineering. Gokulchand would like to get rich and enjoy life to it's fullest, in order to this he invests in a lottery - which he does not win - but ends up inheriting his brother, Nihalchand's estate and wealth - over 10 Lakh Rupees. The family move into a palatial mansion, Manohar quits his job, and Gokulchand closes down his shop. Shortly thereafter Gokulchand announces that he wants to go to Kashmir for a holiday. Kishore is in love with Rita and would like to get married to her. The family know that Gokulchand will never approve of this as Rita comes from a poor family and lives with her widowed aunt, so they decide to get them engaged in Gokulchand's absence. Devki borrows an expensive diamond necklace from her friend, Savitri, and, in turn, lends it to Rita. For a very long time, the family do not hear from Gokulchand, and when he returns home - they get a shock - for he has dyed his hair black, and has an Caucasian girlfriend, Dolly Little, along with her to-be son-in-law, Jerry; a son, William and daughter, Kitty. Chaos and acrimony reign when Gokulchand makes it clear that he is going to get married to Dolly, as well as the subsequent theft of twenty five Thousand Rupees, which Gokulchand suspects was both stolen by Kishore. Things get even more complicated when the family are asked to leave, and while re-locating to a shanty hut, they find the necklace missing. Then Sunder, who was living at an ashram for Brahmacharis, shows up at her home - complete with beard and traditional clothing - and is all set to get married to her. When facing rejection, he decides to change his lifestyle and be like Manohar - and does so - albeit with hilarious results.
