¿Dónde Está La Luz? (English: Where Is The Light?) is the fourth studio album by power metal band WarCry, released on February 1, 2005 (see 2005 in music and 2005 in heavy metal music), and distributed through Avispa Music.
¿Dónde Está La Luz? was recorded in the M-20 Studios in Madrid. Roberto García left Avalanch after the release of El Ángel Caído due to personal and professional problems with Alberto Rionda. He had always worked as guitarist, but WarCry needed a bassist after Jardón's departure at the end the band's last concert from El Sello De Los Tiempos Tour, so he decided to handle bass duties in order to become a member. The album was released in digipak format, as CD-DVD. The DVD contained a music video of the song "Contra El Viento", an interview to the band members, some of the recording sessions in the studio, and more. All the songs were composed by frontman, lead singer, and songwriter Víctor García.
The album was well received by critics and mostly by fans, being considered as "WarCry's heaviest album to date" (the previous ones were power metal). Francisco Fonseca of Metal Archives described the record as "catchy, with almost no fast drumming, lots of good riffs, choruses in every song, ballads, and metal fusions." The lyrics of this work deal with agony, fantasy, but most of all, with social issues, such as abuse, crime, and discrimination.
Contra El Viento (en: "Against the Wind") is the seventh track from WarCry album ¿Dónde Está La Luz?, and was also released as a music video created after a montage of scenes from a live concert given by the band. It is also featured on live album Directo A La Luz on both DVD and CD versions.
who explained them on the band's website as follows:
This story talks about a terminal patient who notices that his time is about to come, and still grasps desperately to his life. It's common to hear expressions like: "If I have an accident and end up blind, I prefer to die", or "If I lose a leg I prefer to die"... Dying, is like total surrender. There might be a life after death, but one thing is totally clear, it won't be the same. The human being is a viscous substance that exists in our heads, everything else is replaceable and complementary. The loss of an organ, vision, or hearing is not a loss of identity, also, your family wouldn't leave you just because you're blind, or anything else, their support and affection will always be present.
Imagine you the protagonist of this story, think of any way of survival, think that every second is vital, and that life is a disease with constant pain and thousands of barriers to whom you need to face. Escaping is not allowed, but only resistance, struggle ,and fights to solve problems. At the end of our years death will win, but no one can take away the pleasure of having fought every single day of our lives... against the wind.El Viento (エル・ヴィエント, Eru Viento, from Spanish meaning "The Wind") is a 2D platform game developed and published by Wolf Team for the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis game console in 1991. It is the second in a trilogy of Earnest Evans and Annet Myer games, which also includes Earnest Evans and Anett Futatabi.
El Viento is a platform game. The player has access to an endless supply of bladed boomerangs and eventually up to five spell attacks. Each level end in a fight against a stage boss.
The game shares the same fictional universe with Earnest Evans, and happens several years later. It also features many references to H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. The game take place in the New York City during the late 1920s, when cult leader Henry, the gangster Al Capone (Vincente DeMarcoto in the American localization), and a sorceress named Restiana plot to awaken the ancient and malevolent god Hastur. There are some people that have descended from Hastur's ancient bloodline, one of which is the young Peruvian sorceress, Annet Myer. With some assistance from Earnest Evans, Annet attempts to stop the cult from resurrecting Hastur using the very spells of this bloodline.
El Viento (English: The Wind) is a 2005 Argentine film directed and co-written by Eduardo Mignogna and starring Federico Luppi, Antonella Costa and Pablo Cedrón. This was Mignogna's last film.
Old ranch hand Frank Osorio (Luppi) travels from Patagonia to Buenos Aires to bring the news of his daughter's demise to his granddaughter, Alina (Costa).
Observa alrededor lo fácil que es vivir;
