Today is September 1st, 2016 and it’s an all new Collider Jedi Council hosted by Kristian Harloff with John Campea, Mark Ellis and Perri Nemiroff! Jedi Council is packed with a ton of news today with a new rumor surfacing that we've already heard as happening before. But now, there are a few more details and they seem to point to Yoda appearing in Episode VIII. The Council discuss this and speculate on the chances of it actually happening citing a report that actually saw original creator and voice, Frank Oz, making his way over to Ireland during the filming of Episode VIII. The chances seem rather good that our little green friend will be appearing in the movie. More Episode VIII news that could set the stage for Episode IX - Mark Hamill took to social media in order to shave off his beard as he prepares for his next project. What was interesting, however, is what he said. Hamill told his audience how happy he is to be losing the Jedi Beard and won't miss it - until Episode IX that is... Did Hamill just confirm that his Luke Skywalker character will live to fight another day in Episode IX? Not so fast, says the crew - what about Force Ghosts? Luke could become one with the Force in Episode VIII and that would mean his beard would be there if he were to offer more guidance from the other side in Episode IX. Then it's on to more news regarding Rogue One with stories on Ian McDiarmid confirming no appearance by his Emperor character followed by Riz Ahmed talking his role in the Star Wars Story.
