Jeff Dyer (Ph.D UCLA) is the Horace Beesley professor of strategy at Brigham Young University as well as professor of strategy at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Before becoming a professor he spent five years as a consultant and manager at Bain & Company, a top management consultancy. His book “The Innovator’s DNA: Mastering the Five Skills of Disruptive Innovators” (July 2011), with Harvard professor Clayton Christensen and MIT professor Hal Gregersen, identifies the behaviors of the world’s best innovators to demonstrate how individuals can enhance their own innovator DNA and increase the innovation capabilities of their organizations. Beyond his work on innovation, Dyer is the only strategy scholar in the world to have published five times in the Harvard Business Review and five times in Strategic Management Journal, the top academic journal in the strategy field. In 2012 he was ranked the world’s #1 “most influential” management scholar among scholars who completed their Ph.D’s after 1990. This ranking, published in Academy of Management Perspectives, was based upon an equal weighting of academic citations (measuring academic influence) and non.edu Google searches (measuring business influence). Professor Dyer’s research has been covered in articles at Forbes, The Economist, Fortune, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Fast Company and many other publications. Companies such as Adobe, AT&T;, Cisco, General Electric, General Mills, Gilead Sciences, Harley Davidson, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Life Technologies, Medtronic and Sony have asked him to give speeches or workshops on innovation and/or strategy. Is an innovator born or made? This was the question Hal Gregersen, along with Clayton Christensen and Jeff Dyer, set out to answer in their latest book, “The Innovator’s DNA.” Based on a collaborative eight-year study and interviews with hundreds of game-changing inventors and executives, the authors identified five “discovery skills” used by innovative leaders that distinguishes them from the ordinary. In this video, Gregersen discusses the value of experimenting and why failure is part and parcel to innovation in order to see what insights emerge. A cutting-edge innovation and leadership guru, co-author of “The Innovator’s DNA,” and Executive Director of the MIT Leadership Center, Gregersen challenges organizations and individuals to question the way we think and act to make our world a better, more creative place. He has also been recognized as a 2013 Thinkers50 Innovation Award Nominee. To learn more, visit www.halgregersen.com or www.4-24project.org.

Letterman is also a television and film producer. His company Worldwide Pants produces his show as well as its network follow-up The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Worldwide Pants has also produced several prime-time comedies, the most successful of which was Everybody Loves Raymond, currently in syndication.
In 1996, David Letterman was ranked #45 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time.
Letterman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. His father, Harry Joseph Letterman (April 1915 – February 1973), was a florist of British descent; his mother Dorothy Letterman (née Hofert, now Dorothy Mengering), a Presbyterian church secretary of German descent, is an occasional figure on the show, usually at holidays and birthdays.
James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno /ˈlɛnoʊ/ (born April 28, 1950) is an American stand-up comedian and television host.
From 1992 to 2009, Leno was the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Beginning in September 2009, Leno started a primetime talk show, titled The Jay Leno Show, which aired weeknights at 10:00 p.m. (Eastern Time, UTC-5), also on NBC. James "Jay" Leno was born in New Rochelle, New York, in 1950. His mother, Catherine (née Muir; 1911–1993), a homemaker, was born in Greenock, Scotland, and came to the United States at age 11. Leno's father, Angelo (1910–1994), who worked as an insurance salesman, was born in New York to immigrants from Flumeri, Italy. Leno grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, and although his high school guidance counselor recommended that he drop out of school, he later obtained a Bachelor's degree in speech therapy from Emerson College, where he started a comedy club in 1973. Leno's siblings include his late older brother, Patrick, who was a Vietnam veteran and a lawyer.

We've been through hell and high water,
Ready to go through it all again.
As long as we've got a quarter between us all,
We're gonna have money to spend, oh.
Kicked down the doors in New Orleans,
We got busted at Grove Hill where nobody goes,
And Long Bob drove us to the Badlands,
You can bet your ass we're gonna make it down to tomorrow night's show.
Chorus:
We took time by the horns,
Cryin' out loud,
Stood there naked up there in front of the crowd,
Been a million miles,
On a lost highway,
They might name a street after us one of these days.
Oh, we've seen the good times, we've seen the bad.
Worse time we ever seen, is the best some folks ever had,
And the Stone mowed us down, with a cold-hearted quill,
But we ain't changed our ways, and I guess we never will.
Chorus

Worse time we ever seen, is the best some folks ever had,

But we ain't changed our ways, and I guess we never will.
Again on the stage where everybody's ready
To rap this beat or do you wanna call it heavy
We wanna wecome you to this unfinished show
We wanna welcome you to this unfinished show
And we're gonna get through 'coz we're allowed like you
Everything's simple but not so clear
I've heard that you live in a bad atmosphere
So forget the bad deals and let yourself go
There's nothing in this world that'll keep us low
HELLO!
Don't live your life with a TV-set
It will kill you, thinking there's something you can get
Don't make your ife sounds ike a bad joke
And let the leaders give you too much dope
Things will be better all the time
It depends on how you will waste your time
Don't panic your mind like a regular Joe
Forget the bad deals and let yoursef go
I know your hiding places
and I know your every move
cuz' girl, I've been lonely too.
And I seen a million faces
been to a million places.
But, girl, there's no one quite like you.
And I'm gone through Hell and High Water.
Washed away with the tide.
I can lose a damn war all by myself,
if you were on the other side.
So, in the morning when the rooster crows,
pack your bags and get ready to go.
If you're walkin' through hell and high water, please don't do it alone.
I know, you feel left down.
and I know, you been turned out.
I wish I've been there for you.
So when the night time comes around.
And you feel like an only child,
just know, I'll be there for you.
And I'm gone through Hell and High Water.
Washed away with the tide.
I can lose a damn war all by myself,
if you were on the other side.
So, in the morning when the rooster crows,
pack your bags and get ready to go.
If you're walkin' through hell and high water, please don't do it alone.
[Guitar Solo]
And I'm gone through Hell and High Water.
Washed away with the tide.
I can lose a damn war all by myself,
if you were on the other side.
So, in the morning when the rooster crows,
back your bags and get ready to go.
If you're walkin' through hell and high water, please don't do it alone.
If you're walkin' through hell and high water, please don't do it alone.
So much for last love
Where's the promise of
all the games we played we made up
So much for the days
The days that never came
We all know what we saw
We're not naive anymore
[Pre-chorus]
Wait up, wait up a minute for me I'll not be long now
Now we see and we believe that you can set us free
[Chorus]
You are one in a million
your heart beats for our freedom
nobody's come, nobody's gonna beat you down
You are one in a million
Your heart beats for our freedom
How will we tire, how will we tire
When you're in charge
Stretched out, lying on my back now
Looking up and found out
I don't want to, I don't want to see the winter
[Pre-chorus]
[Chorus]
How will we tire [x4]
How will we tire when you're in charge
You are one in a million
Your heart beats for our freedom
How will we tire, how will we tire
When you're in charge
