A trump is a playing card which is elevated above its normal rank in trick-taking games. Typically an entire suit is nominated as a trump suit - these cards then outrank all cards of plain (non-trump) suits. In other contexts, the term trump card can refer to any sort of action, authority, or policy which automatically prevails over all others.
The word "trump" derives from "trionfi" or "triumph", documented as the name of a card game in 1529 and which spawned the game Ruff and Honours, which in turn led to Whist. Trionfi was also the name of the original card game for which tarot cards were designed, and in it the tarot cards had the role of what are now called trumps; later card games, beginning with Triomphe, started using one of the ordinary suits as a replacement for the tarots when a tarot pack was not available.
In most games, the relative rank of cards within a suit is the same in trump and plain suits, but they may sometimes differ, for example in Klabberjass, Euchre, or Eighty Points.
Donald John Trump, Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessperson and media personality. He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's career, branding efforts, personal life, wealth, and outspoken manner have made him famous throughout the country. Since 2015, he is also a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Trump is a native of New York City and a son of Fred Trump, who inspired him to enter real estate development. After two years at Fordham University and while studying at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son. Upon graduating in 1968 he joined the company, and in 1971 was given control, renaming the company "The Trump Organization". Since then he has built hotels, golf courses, and other properties, many of which bear his name. He is a major figure in the American business scene and has received prominent media exposure. The NBC reality show The Apprentice bolstered his fame, and his three marriages were extensively reported in tabloids.

Blitzer was born in Augsburg, Germany, the son of Cesia Blitzer (née Zylberfuden), a homemaker, and David Blitzer, a home builder. His parents were Jewish refugees from Oświęcim, Poland, and Holocaust survivors. He was raised in Buffalo, New York. Blitzer graduated from Kenmore West Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in history from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1970. While at Johns Hopkins, Blitzer studied abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he learned Hebrew.
Blitzer has said that he has frequently been asked about his name, which has been characterized as seemingly made-for-TV. Blitzer explains that his surname goes back for generations, and his first name, 'Wolf', is the same first name as his maternal grandfather.

Plot: On August 23, 1992, a black-ops research program led by General Roberts perfected a device to control the weather. It was launched from a specially outfitted plane and tested for the first time. But control of the machine was lost, and within hours a deadly hurricane had formed. It became the greatest natural disaster since the San Francisco Earthquake - Hurricane Andrew. In the wake of this catastrophe, all evidence of the program was buried. Seven years later, General Roberts has revived the top-secret project. He recruits ambitious meteorologist Ron Young, who has developed software that directs weather systems. The STORM device, now equipped with this software, has been launched into a weather front 300 miles off the California coast. Moments after the device has whipped the storm into a full-blown hurricane, Roberts orders it targeted at Mexico. The storm has grown in power to a super-hurricane, with wind speeds exceeding 400 miles per hour. A struggle on board the plane ensues, causing the deadly hurricane to head straight for Los Angeles. Young, who goes up in another C-123, has less than 3 hours to fly directly into the eye of this super hurricane and regain control of the STORM device. However, there are saboteurs on board. A battle at 20,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean is taking place while the city of Los Angeles awaits the coming siege.

Trump's campaign manager on 'Fox & Friends' discusses the final days of the White House race
Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway showed up tonight on CNN for an interview with anchor Anderson Cooper, and just like in times past, it turned into a bit of a contentious affair, with the CNN host pushing the veteran pollster over Melania Trump’s recent speech.
Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer that President Obama is changing his tone while rallying for Hillary Clinton because he is concerned about the tight poll numbers.
Things got feisty on CNN’s New Day when Chris Cuomo and Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway faced off on Thursday in a heated interview. As they talked about Trump steadying himself during a campaign rally last night, Cuomo asked Conway about why the mogul has such a hard time controlling his mouth before he runs into trouble. Conway insisted that Trump is “doing it perfectly,” and that it’s a stark contrast from Hillary Clinton‘s negative campaigning against Trump.

During an appearance on CNN today, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway was challenged by host Wolf Blitzer over her candidate singling out NBC News’ Katy Tur for criticism at a rally earlier today. Afterwards, Tur was harassed by a number of Trump supporters, leading to many on Twitter to rally around her with the #ImWithTur hashtag. Blitzer played a clip of Trump calling out Tur during the rally, stating that the she wasn’t going to rteport on the size of the crowd. Following the video, the CNN anchor pressed Conway to respond, pointing out that the last time they spoke she said she was going to have a conversation with Trump about “singling Out” reporters.
Today, Donald Trump‘s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway had a very, very intense interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar. Repeatedly, Conway took aim at CNN and insisted to Keilar that the network doesn’t want to cover Hillary Clinton. Keilar stood up for her employer, calmly letting Conway know that CNN has covered Clinton throughout the campaign season, so the pollster insisted that the Trump coverage was simply unfair. After a commercial break, Keilar asked specifically about reports that Trump used to wander into the dressing rooms of Miss Teen USA competitors while they were half-naked. Conway continued trying to change the topic to Clinton, so when Keilar moved it back to Trump, she snapped, “I heard you!”
Jake Tapper pointed out to Kellyanne Conway this morning the fact that her candidate has been supported by racists and anti-Semites, and she was positively shocked at the question.
