Chocolate ripples

Step-by-step instructions to create chocolate ripple shards, perfect for decorating your next cake.

Step 1

Place 200g dark choc melts in a microwave-safe bowl.

Step 2

Microwave choc melts on High, stirring every minute, for 1-2 minutes or until melted.

Step 3

Place a large sheet of baking paper on a work surface. Use a palette knife to spread the melted chocolate in a thin layer over the paper.

Step 4

Place cylindrical objects (such as a rolling pin and/or wooden spoon handles) under the paper to make ripples in the chocolate.

Step 5

Leave to set. Break into shards.
