“Our toddlers will blot out the sun!”
“Then we will fight in the shade!”

Andrew Comments: Teddy bears in Napoleonic garb, riding on dragon-horses in space. Baen, naturally.

It has come to our attention that this book is comedy, which bends our rules.
We appologise, but the cover is still amazing!
– Good Show Sir
Amy Comments: I wish this snap had turned out better but I was getting suspicious glances from the clerk at the bookstore. At any rate, high focus is not entirely necessary to appreciate a fat, be-earringed red Troll doll brandishing a sword whilst riding on an anatomically challenged horse floating above a cloud in front of an angry sun. Winds of Limbo indeed. Also, it says Moorcock *snigger*

WHAT?!?
Many thanks to Amy!
Jeweleya Comments: This cover is so off-putting to me that I can’t bring myself to read the book. A few highlights –
…Indeed, a cover for the ages.

The great artists of our time had a formula for where the human eye would automatically look to when presented with a work of art. At that precise point I know exactly what we need. A huge horse’s head, in pain, as it gets speared by a crazed redhead.
Just have some muscled dudes on horses, pretty much looking exactly the same. Where we will shine, my good apprentice, is in the title and border. Our colour scheme will be brown and the links will be many. And we’ll have a horse or two leaping over the border giving the viewer a 3D experience! Uhhh well, some sort of experience.
OK, I’m spinning my cover creator wheel and its landed on, volcano… good. Spin again… horse-riding knight. OK, I’m throwing the action dice and it’s landed on… being eaten, nice. Another spin… T-REX, sounds awesome! In the background we will have a… prison wall and… a guard post.
Horses. Three horses to be exact! Well, lets put a generic ranger on one of them, but I was thinking of something different for the others…. Oh! A female sorcerer and a huge black samurai! Man, this is going to be a bestseller!
Thanks to CSA!
