O primeiro dia de competições no T-Mobile Arena, em Las Vegas, começou movimentado para os atletas. Fotos com os fãs, entrevistas, coletivas de imprensa e a triunfal chegada ao tapete azul estão entre os destaques. Mas, as maiores emoções do esporte estavam guardadas para a noite.
Os shows deste ano engrandeceram ainda mais a tradicional abertura oficial da PBR (Professional Bull Riders), repleta de fogos e luzes. A cada competidor que entrava na arena, o público recebia enorme entusiasmo e muitas palmas. E, de forma ainda mais intensa este ano, as redes sociais e a Internet possibilitaram a milhares de pessoas a acompanhar como se estivessem em Las Vegas.
Nas disputas, a noite foi melhor para os touros. Das 40 montarias, apenas 12 atletas conseguiram resultados. A maior nota ficou com o americano Chase Outlaw, com 89,50 pontos, depois de encarar o touro Air Marshall. O atleta mostrou estar em uma excelente fase, especialmente depois da vitória na BluedDEF Tour.
Cooper Davis foi o segundo melhor com 87,50 pontos a bordo do touro Show Kitty. Com esse resultado, o competidor se aproximou do líder Kaique Pacheco. A diferença entre os dois é de 60,33 pontos.
Ryan Dirteater fez a terceira nota, 86,75 pontos. JB Mauney foi o quarto mais bem colocado ao conquistar 85,75 de nota. Cody Nance fechou os cinco destaques do primeiro round, com 85,25 pontos.
Eduardo Aparecido terminou a noite com a pontuação mais alta entre os brasileiros. O atleta encarou o touro Sketchy Bob, resultando em 85 pontos. Fabiano Vieira e Kaique Pacheco vieram logo em seguida, com 84,5 e 84,25 pontos respectivamente.

O campeão mundial de 2008, Guilherme Marchi, finalizou o segundo round do BFTS (Built Ford Tough Series), campeonato mundial da PBR (Professional Bull Riders) dividindo o lugar mais alto do pódio com o canadense Ty Pozzobon, ambos com 89,50 pontos.
Tal pontuação permitiu a Guilherme terminar em terceiro colocado no ranking do evento. Em segundo está o campeão canadense Ty Pozzobon, que enfrentou o touro Big Cat no segundo round. O líder até o momento é o americano Chase Outlaw.
Esse não foi o primeiro encontro entre Marchi e Smooth Operator. Na final mundial de 2015, o brasileiro foi surpreendido pelo touro não conseguindo terminar os oito segundos. “Ele realmente é uma pedreira. Mas atualmente sou o único peão a montar nele e parar”, completa em entrevista a Rafael Vilella, locutor oficial da PBR Brasil.
Kaique Pacheco se mantém na liderança do ranking mundial. No entanto, na etapa, está com a 13ª colocação, tendo pontuado apenas no primeiro round.

Crazy Horse
Crazy Horse (Lakota: Tȟašúŋke Witkó in Standard Lakota Orthography,IPA:tχaʃʊ̃kɛ witkɔ), literally "His-Horse-Is-Crazy"; c. 1840 – September 5, 1877) was a Native American war leader of the Oglala Lakota. He took up arms against the United States Federal government to fight against encroachments on the territories and way of life of the Lakota people, including leading a war party to victory at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in June 1876.
Four months after surrendering to U.S. troops under General Crook in May 1877, Crazy Horse was fatally wounded by a military guard, using his bayonet, while allegedly resisting imprisonment at Camp Robinson in present-day Nebraska. He ranks among the most notable and iconic of Native American tribal members and was honored by the U.S. Postal Service in 1982 with a 13¢ Great Americans series postage stamp.
Early life
Sources differ on the precise year of Crazy Horse's birth, but they agree he was born between 1840 and 1845. According to a close friend, he and Crazy Horse "were both born in the same year at the same season of the year", which census records and other interviews place at about 1845.Encouraging Bear, an Oglala medicine man and spiritual adviser to the Oglala war leader, reported that Crazy Horse was born "in the year in which the band to which he belonged, the Oglala, stole One Hundred Horses, and in the fall of the year", a reference to the annual Lakota calendar or winter count. Among the Oglala winter counts, the stealing of 100 horses is noted by Cloud Shield, and possibly by American Horse and Red Horse owner, as equivalent to the year 1840–41. Oral history accounts from relatives on the Cheyenne River Reservation place his birth in the spring of 1840. On the evening of his son's death, the elder Crazy Horse told Lieutenant H. R. Lemly that his son "would soon have been thirty-seven, having been born on the South Cheyenne river in the fall of 1840".

O primeiro dia de competições no T-Mobile Arena, em Las Vegas, começou movimentado para os atletas. Fotos com os fãs, entrevistas, coletivas de imprensa e a triunfal chegada ao tapete azul estão entre os destaques. Mas, as maiores emoções do esporte estavam guardadas para a noite.
Os shows deste ano engrandeceram ainda mais a tradicional abertura oficial da PBR (Professional Bull Riders), repleta de fogos e luzes. A cada competidor que entrava na arena, o público recebia enorme entusiasmo e muitas palmas. E, de forma ainda mais intensa este ano, as redes sociais e a Internet possibilitaram a milhares de pessoas a acompanhar como se estivessem em Las Vegas.
Nas disputas, a noite foi melhor para os touros. Das 40 montarias, apenas 12 atletas conseguiram resultados. A maior nota ficou com o americano Chase Outlaw, com 89,50 pontos, depois de encarar o touro Air Marshall. O atleta mostrou estar em uma excelente fase, especialmente depois da vitória na BluedDEF Tour.
Cooper Davis foi o segundo melhor com 87,50 pontos a bordo do touro Show Kitty. Com esse resultado, o competidor se aproximou do líder Kaique Pacheco. A diferença entre os dois é de 60,33 pontos.
Ryan Dirteater fez a terceira nota, 86,75 pontos. JB Mauney foi o quarto mais bem colocado ao conquistar 85,75 de nota. Cody Nance fechou os cinco destaques do primeiro round, com 85,25 pontos.
Eduardo Aparecido terminou a noite com a pontuação mais alta entre os brasileiros. O atleta encarou o touro Sketchy Bob, resultando em 85 pontos. Fabiano Vieira e Kaique Pacheco vieram logo em seguida, com 84,5 e 84,25 pontos respectivamente.

Krazy Horse’ scores 7-second TKO, calls out Wanderlei Funniest post fight ever In what was one of the strangest few minutes of the year, Charles Bennett (30-30-2) made his return to Japanese MMA prominence and scored a seven-second TKO win over Wanderlei Silva prodigy Minoru Kimura (0-1). “Krazy Horse” dropped Kimura with his first punch of the fight then finished the job with a few strikes on the mat. He promptly jumped to the top rope for his signature backflip and then proceeded to deliver an odd post-fight interview, most of which was directed at Silva.
