Gonk is a term that has had varied meanings depending on the time period and cultural context. Most famously, a "gonk" was a somewhat egg-shaped or spherical novelty toy with furry appearances, sometimes having small arms and legs as well as goofy eyes, which achieved great popularity in the United Kingdom for a time in the 1960s. Celebrities such as Beatles musician Ringo Starr publicly showed theirs off at the time. Initially started as a joke-based personal project, the toys became well known for having a deliberately kitsch appearance due to their strident outfits, some of them dressed as Merseybeat performers with moptop haircuts, and for also being marketed as collectibles. Several of them ended up shipped as far away as nations such as Canada and the United States.
The same decade that the toys became popular, the term "gonk" arose as a generalized insult for a dimwitted and silly person, akin to related pejoratives such as "dork" and "dweeb".
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, centered on a film series created by George Lucas. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".
The first film in the series, Star Wars (later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope), was released on May 25, 1977 by 20th Century Fox and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. It was followed by the similarly successful sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983); these three films constitute the original Star Wars trilogy. A prequel trilogy was later released between 1999 and 2005, which received a more mixed reaction from critics and fans, compared to the original trilogy. All seven films were nominated for or won Academy Awards, and were commercial successes, with a combined box office revenue of $4.38 billion, making Star Wars the fourth highest-grossing film series. The series has spawned an extensive media franchise—the Star Wars expanded universe—including books, television series, computer and video games, and comic books, resulting in significant development of the series's fictional universe. Star Wars also holds a Guinness World Records title for the "Most successful film merchandising franchise." In 2012, the total value of the Star Wars franchise was estimated at USD $30.7 billion, including box-office receipts as well as profits from their video games and DVD sales.

A clean sound file of the GNK (Gonk) Droid from Star Wars, This file does have the droid leg/feet movement noises too. The Gonk on this file is rather deep sounding, though this is a cleaned up file from the original Dark Forces game. I'm not sure why the game designers chose to make the GNK sound so deep. But I guess different droids have different voices etc.
10 hours of being ripped apart and eaten by the damned and undead. How wonderful.

Most famous music piece of Dawn of the Dead. This plays during the credits as mall music while the zombies wander the mall. Originally used for an old bra and panty commercial, this music can now be heard as the clucking chicken end credit music for Robot Chicken. It was also remixed for Shaun of the Dead playing at the very end of the credits and during the Fun-Dead segment.
I lie half awake
Late at night
I reach out to touch you
To feel you by my side
And I reach
And I reach
But I never get to feel you
Will I ever get to feel you again?
Again...
Just one more time
One more moment
To take you in my arms
One more chance
One more kiss
Before I wake to find you gone
One more time
Before I have to face another day
And my heart breaks...again
It's only a dream
But it's also real
I don't want it to end
But I know it will
So I pray and I pray
Every night I'm on my knees
Begging for the chance to see you again
Again…
