Dubfire
Ali Shirazinia (Persian: علی شیرازینیا), commonly known by his stage name Dubfire, is an Iranian American house and techno DJ and producer. Prior to his solo career, Dubfire was one half of the four times nominated and Grammy Award-winning duo, Deep Dish. Dubfire's style is noticeably different from that of Deep Dish, consisting of techno rather than progressive house.
Biography
During his youth he listened to mostly classic hip hop, jazz/rare groove, dub, new wave and industrial and was also influenced by the local punk scene and the music of Washington DC-based bands including Fugazi and Minor Threat. Shirazinia frequented a local record store called Yesterday And Today Records, where he became acquainted with the sounds of artists like Kraftwerk, Ministry, Jesus & Mary Chain, Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Adrian Sherwood of On-U Sound and Einstürzende Neubauten.
In 1991, Shirazinia and fellow DC resident Sharam Tayebi formed Deep Dish, a DJ and production duo that became notable for their productions and DJ sets. Deep Dish released acclaimed dance classics beginning with the 1995 remix of De'Lacy's "Hideaway", and went on to work with an eclectic array of names in pop, rock and electronica. Shirazinia and Tayebi established Deep Dish Records, and they went on to win a Grammy in 2002 for their remix of Dido's "Thank You" along with many other high-profile awards. Following their successes as Deep Dish, both Shirazinia and Tayebi began to produce and DJ individually.

Nicole Moudaber
Nicole Moudaber is a Lebanese-Nigerian music producer and DJ born in Nigeria. In 2009, Carl Cox described her as "the most underrated DJ" to DJ Magazine, which helped to launch her career. Her 2013 debut album Believe was Number 1 for a month on the Beatport techno, tech house, and deep house charts. Moudaber has teamed with techno notables such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, etc. and she also launched MOOD Records imprint in 2012.
Biography
Moudaber was raised in Nigeria. She moved to London, England after graduating from Richmond College with Social Sciences BS degree.
When she was living in Lebanon, Moudaber was one of the first people to bring dance music to Beirut. After the war in 1996 her "Trashy Renaissance" party in Beirut was the first rave event of its kind and prompted her to bring out international DJs, including Paul Van Dyk and Anthony Pappa for the first time to the Middle East. Moudaber describes her first party as: "I threw [it] in the middle of Beirut city was in the vicinity of a mosque and a cathedral, it was meant to defy the notion of hatred and prove we can do it together (the new generation) through music. It was a total success."

Dubfire's recent work has seen him co-produce tracks with celebrated British electronic music act Underworld, put out a two-disc mix compilation with Loco Dice for Cocoon and remix more Plastikman material. His SCI+TEC label has also become a home for many emerging and established talents. This Saturday 01.10.11 Dubfire returns to Ministry of Sound for what is only his second London appearance of 2011 and the debut of his first Sci+TEC label at the club.
