Flúðir
Flúðir is a small village located in the Hrunamannahreppur municipality in the Southern Region, Iceland.
It is not far from Geysir (the oldest known geyser) and the Gullfoss waterfall. It has a population of 394. Swedish actress Noomi Rapace resided here in her childhood.

Timeleaps at Fludir Iceland
This is my first time-laps i made on my Canon 60D, there is no audio, and some flikker in the images, but like i said my first try. Had an auto thingy for the camera and i made it take a picture every 10 sec. Ended up with about 1200 frames.

BuenQamino visits Iceland's Secret Lagoon, situated less than two hours from Reykjavik, in Fludir. Open from 2-10 PM everyday, you're going to wish you could permanently stay put there. It isn't as large as the Blue Lagoon, nor as blue, nor as crowded.. So, shhh. A few Golden Circle Tours stop by here, but you are going to wish you rented a car, as any normal person would be ok with turning into a prune in this lagoon, opposed to just dipping in it for an hour.

List of cities and towns in Iceland
This is a list of cities and towns in Iceland. Some of Iceland’s larger cities and towns are also self-contained municipalities whose geography and populations are therefore equal. However, most of Iceland’s municipalities, which are semi-autonomous administrative zones, contain several disparate towns or cities, each of whose population contributes to that of its respective municipality.
In addition to Iceland's many independent towns, this article includes cities and towns whose municipalities consist of one, self-contained city of the same name, such as Hafnarfjörður and Akranes. Municipalities that are not also cities or towns, such as Árborg, are not included here, but their constituent towns and cities are. For Árborg, these include the towns of Selfoss, Eyrarbakki, and Stokkseyri.

A giant, swollen snake was captured and killed in Nigeria because it was suspected of eating a calf and killing livestock around the area. The snake was almost 1 foot wide and around 10 feet long.
