Emily Thornberry: Labour would accept 'back channel' deals on Brexit amendments . ANDREW MARR exploded after the Shadow Foreign Secretary squirmed over Labour party questions during an angry grilling by the host. Emily Thornberry, the Labour MP, refused to reveal whether they would fight for certain amendments the party plans to make to the Brexit bill.  Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show, the host quizzed the 56-year-old politician over how Labour will react if they do not get the amendments on the bill they wish to get.  Last week the House of Commons debated and voted on the first bill for Article 50, which will allow Theresa May to begin the Brexit process by the end of March.  Parliament is set to debate the bill again as the opposition party prepare to make amendments shaping it as much as they can. However, Mrs Thornberry was blasted by Marr in a explosive rant as the presenter criticised her for suggesting the party would vote for Article 50, regardless of whether their amendments are accepted or not.  Marr asked if the amendments which Labour are set to propose, including conversations being allowed between parliament over Brexit negations, as well as tariff free access to the single market, are red lines.  Mrs Thornberry said: “We need to make sure throughout the negotiations we are ensuring these things happen.” However, Marr, who had already interrupted the Labour MP as he was confused over whether they were red lines for the party or not grilled her back.
