Key may refer to:
A canoe is a lightweight narrow boat, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers facing the direction of travel using a single-bladed paddle. In some European countries, like the United Kingdom, the term canoe is often used for both canoes and kayaks, with canoes called Canadian canoes then. This is seen in the International Canoe Federation nomenclature.
Canoes are used for racing, whitewater canoeing, touring and camping, freestyle, and general recreation. The intended use of the canoe dictates its hull shape and length and construction material.
Historically, canoes were dugouts or made of bark on a wood frame, but construction materials evolved to canvas on a wood frame, then to aluminum. Most modern canoes are made of molded plastic or composites such as fiberglass. Until the mid-1800s the canoe was an important means of transport for exploration and trade, but then transitioned to recreational or sporting use. Canoeing has been part of the Olympics since 1936. In places where the canoe played a key role in history, such as the northern United States, Canada, and New Zealand, the canoe remains an important theme in popular culture.

The Florida Keys are a coral cay archipelago located off the southern coast of Florida, forming the southernmost portion of the continental United States. They begin at the southeastern coast of the Florida peninsula, about 15 miles (24 km) south of Miami, and extend in a gentle arc south-southwest and then westward to Key West, the westernmost of the inhabited islands, and on to the uninhabited Dry Tortugas. The islands lie along the Florida Straits, dividing the Atlantic Ocean to the east from the Gulf of Mexico to the northwest, and defining one edge of Florida Bay. At the nearest point, the southern part of Key West is just 90 miles (140 km) from Cuba. The Florida Keys are between about 23.5 and 25.5 degrees North latitude.
The climate of the Keys is defined as tropical savanna according to Köppen climate classification. More than 95 percent of the land area lies in Monroe County, but a small portion extends northeast into Miami-Dade County, such as Totten Key. The total land area is 137.3 square miles (356 km2). As of the 2010 census the population was 73,090 with an average density of 532.34 per square mile (205.54/km2), although much of the population is concentrated in a few areas of much higher density, such as the city of Key West, which has 32% of the entire population of the Keys. The US Census population estimate for 2014 is 77,136.

Wenonah Fisherman Canoe at The Boundary Waters Catalog A small, stable, maneuverable canoe for fishing, hunting and low-key paddling. Designed for families and sportsmen, the Fisherman is a stable platform for outdoor enjoyment. Short and wide, the Fisherman delivers easy turning and lots of initial stability. Its relatively flat bottom is very steady on fair waters, and its broad beam draws just inches. The Fisherman's easy control and shallow draught give access to areas that would be difficult for other craft, even many other canoes. Being that it is a stable, small hull, the Fisherman is an ideal choice for use at camps or at a lake cabin where kids will often use it. Since youngsters are light, they find it to be a fine paddling canoe that is also safe on waves due to its depth. ...
Finally got outside to the blue water. Put in some trolling hours with not much to show. The wrecks were kind of quiet as well. Did pull up a couple though. The wind is down for a bit so should be able to get out a bit more often. Boy those sharks are aggessive.

I challenged my mom to figure out this word riddle. When you say these words in the right way, they form a common phrase. The answer should become apparent at the end...probably about the time when I give her the answer :P It's harder than it looks...see if you can figure it out!

Unlike the dolphins & manatees, turtles don't seem interested or curious about the transparent canoe. However, because the canoe doesn't cast a shadow, they are a LOT less spooked by it than any other canoe, kayak or boat. These area just a few of our favorite amazing encounters with sea turtles in the See Through Canoe. Most of these clips were taken in the Florida Keys near Big Torch Key, Big Pine Key, Summerland Key.... More details about the canoe can be found at http://www.seethroughcanoe.com

Me, my brother and two friends of ours paddled the entire French River from North Bay [Park Champlain] to the Georgian Bay and up the Key River to Key River village. This trip is about 160 Kilometers and we took 12 days to enjoy it properly. Watching all the movies Bill Mason made and the Northern Wilderness series of Ray Mears inspired us to embark on this journey. Clearly it has much history and is strongly connected to all the tales of the Voyageurs and the Coureur du Bois. We really learned how to make the journey matter, rather than the destination. :-) Music: Tanglefoot - C'est L'aviron [Northern Wilderness Music Symposium] Camera's Used: Canon 60D, DJI Phantom 2 Vision+, GoPro Hero4, Iphone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy. The perfect accoutrement for a day of kayak fishing. Mangrove Snapper Ceviche. Very easy to make, even in a kayak. Pick up a nice mangrove snapper, filet it up, cut into thumb nail sized pieces, soak in lemon/lime juice while on ice. Mix in your favorite veggies. Scoop it with some tortilla chips or a nice sourdough bread. Nom nom nom. Oh yea, watch your feet.

Many indigenous peoples of the Americas built bark canoes. They were usually skinned with birch bark over a light wooden frame, but other types could be used if birch was scarce. At a typical length of 4.3 m (14 ft) and weight of 23 kg (50 lb), the canoes were light enough to be portaged, yet could carry a lot of cargo, even in shallow water. Although susceptible to damage from rocks, they are easily repaired.[7] Their performance qualities were soon recognized by early European immigrants, and canoes played a key role in the exploration of North America,[8] with Samuel de Champlain canoeing as far as the Georgian Bay in 1615. René de Bréhant de Galinée a French missionary who explored the Great Lakes in 1669 declared: "The convenience of these canoes is great in these waters, full of cata...

Join my father and I for a wonderful visit to one of the most popular tourist attractions in SW Florida - Manatee Park in Fort Myers. We take a canoe ride on the Orange River near the power plant where manatees come to warm in the cool winter months.
We take a trip down the Courtois Creek in a canoe with the Nikon KeyMission 360º camera. I feel like this is a real world situation where recording in 360º offers an immersive experience and is more interesting than a single camera view. I'm less bothered by the stitching lines and lower resolution here than in other instances. If you have any other ideas for KeyMission 360 footage let me know. Edited and graded in Final Cut ProX with FilmConvert.
We ventured out to do a last minute fishing trip this weekend and I wanted to do something a little different. We decided to rent a canoe and load up the bare necessities, to show you that you don't need a 100k boat to have a great day on the water catching redfish, snook and jacks. We stopped in at the bait store to load up on shrimp but like usual they were dink shrimp, so we had to work with what we had. The full moon just passed, the tide was high at 3pm. We hit the tail end of the high tide and the bite was on, we fished for about two hours catching no fewer than a dozen redfish, a snook and a jack. Due to the flood tide we fished deep within the mangroves where we knew the fish would be staged, patiently waiting to ambush an easy target. As the tide turned to go out the fish started ...
Pachelbel's Canon aka Canon in D is the name commonly given to a canon by the German Baroque composer Johann Pachelbel in his Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo It is his most famous composition. I lie half awake
Late at night
I reach out to touch you
To feel you by my side
And I reach
And I reach
But I never get to feel you
Will I ever get to feel you again?
Again...
Just one more time
One more moment
To take you in my arms
One more chance
One more kiss
Before I wake to find you gone
One more time
Before I have to face another day
And my heart breaks...again
It's only a dream
But it's also real
I don't want it to end
But I know it will
So I pray and I pray
Every night I'm on my knees
Begging for the chance to see you again
Again…
