Calimera

Calimera (Καλημέρα, "good morning" in both Greek and Griko) is a small town of 7,296 inhabitants in the Grecìa Salentina area of the Salento peninsula in Italy, located between Gallipoli and Otranto. It belongs to the province of Lecce.

The inhabitants of Calimera, alongside Italian, also speak Griko, a Greek dialect. The language, folklore, traditions and history of Calimera, like those of the eight other cities in the area called Salentinian Greece, reveal significant Greek influences over the course of time, presumably from the time of the Byzantine control, or even the ancient Magna Graecia colonisation in the 8th century BCE.

In the park, there is a small monument containing an ancient Attic burial stone, given by the city of Athens to Calimera in 1957. At the top of this monument is a motto, referring to the burial stone: "Zeni su en ise ettù sti Kalimera" (in Greek script: Τσένη 'σού 'εν είσαι ετού στη Καλημέρα), meaning "You are not a stranger here in Calimera", which underlines the close relationship and common origins of Calimera with the rest of Greek civilisation.

Cita Rahayu, stage name Cita Citata (born August 14, 1994), is an Indonesian singer and actress. Cita sings the song "Sakitnya Tuh Disini", introduced in the soap opera Diam-Diam Suka: Cinta Lama Bersemi Kembali. The song won an award for "Most Famous Soap Opera Soundtrack" at the 2014 SCTV Awards. She also played a role in the soap opera.

Career

When she was young, Citata often sang dangdut at wedding receptions with Gemilang Abdi Pratama. She began to sing pop in high school. Then, she began to sing jazz. She started her career as a jazz singer, but joined Sani Music Indonesia in mid 2014 as a dangdut singer. Her single "Kalimera Athena" was written by Doel Sumbang. Citata released the single "Sakitnya Tuh Disini" because of a breakup with Gemilang (familiarly called Shahmi). In a few weeks, the song topped various radio stations in Indonesia.

Despina Vandi (Greek: Δέσποινα Βανδή; pronounced [ðesˈpina ˈvanði]), born as Despina Malea (Greek: Δέσποινα Μαλέα) on 22 July 1969, is a Greek singer of Pontic Greek ancestry. Born in Tübingen near Stuttgart, Germany, Vandi's family returned to Kavala, Greece when she was six years old. After moving to Athens in the early 1990s, Vandi signed with Minos EMI and released two albums Gela Mou (1994) and Esena Perimeno (1996). She then began an exclusive collaboration with songwriter/producer Phoebus and struck commercial success with her third album, Deka Endoles (1997), followed by the multi-platinum Profities (1999), where she established a more "pop" stage performance style and image, becoming one of the most prominent portrayers of the laïko/pop genre.

Her single "Ipofero" (2000) became the best-selling single of all-time in Greece. Following Phoebus' departure from Minos EMI, Vandi followed him to the newly formed independent label Heaven Music and released Gia (2001), which became and remains her biggest commercial success, as well as one of the best-selling albums of all time in Greece and Cyprus. Vandi also released the album abroad and the self-titled single "Gia", topping the US Billboard Hot Dance Airplay and making her the first Greek artist to top a Billboard chart. She returned with Stin Avli Tou Paradeisou (2004), which was certified multi-platinum and became her fourth album to achieve six-figure sales. In 2007 10 Hronia Mazi, a ten-year celebration of her collaboration with Pheobus was released, followed by her eighth studio album C'est La Vie. In 2012 she released the album Allaxa, which was certified 2x platinum sales and has been her first double platinum record since 2005.
