Fremantle have recorded their third win in row after a 17-point win over Port Adelaide at Domain Stadium on Saturday.

Although the Power had the lead for a short while, the Dockers took the game on in the second quarter and took charge to run out 12.14 (86) to 9.15 (69) victors.

Michael Barlow and Lachie Neale were impressive for their team with 43 and 38 disposals respectively, while Matthew Pavlich added four goals and Zac Clarke had a career high 43 hit outs.

Tanner Smith limped off the ground during the third quarter with a left hamstring injury and the Power's Dougal Howard injured his knee.

It was a tight contest throughout the game with Port taking the lead into the first break and the roles switching by half time with Fremantle up by eight points.

Port started the third quarter strong, but failed to convert in front of goals. The Dockers answered back with Hayden Ballantyne stepping up his defensive presence and giving Matthew Pavlich and Michael Barlow chances to kick the goals for a nine-point lead heading into the final term.
