Seung Mei Yan Gaan (賞味人間; Appreciate The Taste Of Life) is rock/pop-singer Candy Lo's 6th studio album. It was released on 7 July 2002. For this album Candy Lo worked together with Hong Kong producer Kubert Leung (梁翹柏) with whom she had worked on previous albums, such as Fantasy.
There are two editions of this album. The first has only one disc and a VCD with the music videos for three of the album's songs. The second edition contains an extra disc with four different versions of "Break-Up With Good Intentions" (好心分手) of which the first track is a duet version featuring Leehom Wang (王力宏). The other three are remixes of the original solo version. The second edition also comes with a VCD. This one is different from the one with the first edition because it has an extra music video, the version of "Break-Up With Good Intentions" featuring Leehom Wang.

Candy Lo is a Canto- rock singer-songwriter and actress from Hong Kong. She has released nine studio albums, over forty singles, two compilations, one live album, and one EP with Sony Music to date. On 11 June, she released her first EP on her new label WOW Music.
Before going solo Candy Lo was the lead vocalist in Hong Kong based rock band Black & Blue. Before the band released any material, they used to perform independently of Black & Blue as a band as well.
In 1995 Black & Blue released their first record titled Hope in Just One Day. A year later, in 1996 they released their second album eponymously titled Black & Blue. The former contains songs mostly sung in English while the latter is completely in Cantonese. Stepping away from English and singing completely in Cantonese had been a decision made in concordance with their record label so as to make themselves more understandable to fans. Lo wrote the lyrics to their songs herself.
In 1998 Candy Lo was signed to Sony Music, thereby starting her solo career. Her first release under Sony was an EP called Bat Seui Yiu...Yun Mei Dak Ho Pa (不需要...完美得可怕; Unnecessary To Want...Perfect Can Be Terrible). For this record she won a Golden Award in the same year. The style of this release continued on from her Canto-rock past with Black & Blue. In winter 1998, Candy released a second record called Miao, the title of which refers to Candy's love of cats and how "they listen while people sometimes don't." The album did not sell as much copies as expected. Producer Kubert Leung blamed the public, who "failed to grasp the concept of the album".
Wang Leehom (born May 17, 1976), sometimes credited as Leehom Wang, is a Chinese-American singer-songwriter, record producer, actor and film director. He is currently based in Taiwan. Formally trained at the Eastman School of Music, Williams College and Berklee College of Music, his musical style is known for fusing Chinese elements (such as Beijing opera, traditional styles of ethnic minorities, Chinese classical orchestra) with hip-hop and R&B. Wang has been active since 1995 and contributed in 25 albums. He is also a four-time winner of Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards, the "Grammys" of Taiwanese music. His concert at the Beijing Bird's Nest on April 14, 2012 was the first solo pop concert to be held at the venue.
In addition to his music, Wang also acted in several films, including Ang Lee's Lust, Caution and Jackie Chan's film Little Big Soldier. He is an environmental activist, and his album Change Me was dedicated to raising eco-awareness among Chinese youth. Wang was one of the first torchbearers for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, and performed in the Olympics' closing ceremony in Beijing. He was again a torchbearer for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, making him the only person in the Mandarin pop circle to have taken part in the event twice. He is a longtime ambassador for World Vision Taiwan and was appointed World Vision Malaysia's 15th anniversary ambassador (from October 2011 to September 2012).
