Chawri Bazar is a specialized wholesale market of brass, copper and paper products. Established in 1840, with a hardware market, it was the first wholesale market of Old Delhi. it lies to the west of Jama Masjid in Delhi, lies.
It can be reached by taking the street just near the middle projection of Jama Masjid's western (rear) wall. It was accessible via the Chawri Bazar underground station of the Delhi Metro.

It is located in the Chawri Bazaar locality of Old Delhi and was inaugurated on 3rd July, 2005 as part of the Kashmere Gate -- Central Secretariat corridor.
Chawri Bazar is the deepest station of the Delhi Metro network and is situated about 30 metres (98 ft) below ground level.It is located close to the monuments of Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Jung Bahadur Kachori Waala, located in Kinari Bazaar, Chandni Chowk, is one of the few places which serve the traditional Khasta Kachori.
The Kachori is filled with a mixture of lentils, deep fried and served with an Aaloo Curry so spicy that it will have your ears turning red and leave you amazed! We strongly recommend you visit this place if you love traditional Indian street food and can tolerate that extra punch of spice. If not, make sure you let the Kachori-Waala know, and we’re sure they will be accommodating!
Located in the midst of the regular Old Delhi hustle bustle, the place can serve as the perfect spot for a mid-shopping stomach-serving break owing to the abundance of shops of all kinds in Kinari Bazaar. Considering the quality and taste of the Kachori, you will not only leave Jung Bahadur Kachori Waala with a happy stomach, but also with an even happier pocket considering the cheap price of the food!

Location: It is located in Chawri Bazar; if you have seen the "Sis Ganj Sahib" Gurudwara, just keep coming straight towards bazar until you reach a major circle where you can see police barricades on the left hand side. Take that left until dead end and straight ahead you see Shyam Sweets.
Like many other outlets here, needles to say, the smell of fried dough and stuffings would make you drool over it. The bedmi poori is accompanied with Aalo sabzi. surprisingly, the poori is not oily at all and the aalo sabzi is a bit spicy and flavourful. I tried the peas kachori as well but the size of the same is small and it is average in taste. Not bad at all though.
TIP: Bedmi poori itself would not be sufficient to fill your stomach so add a glass of lassi (served in khullar) to it. This should be satiating enough. Price: 40/- poori, 40/- lassi !

Location: It is located in Chawri Bazar; if you have seen the "Sis Ganj Sahib" Gurudwara, just keep coming straight towards bazar until you reach a major circle where you can see police barricades on the left hand side. Take that left until dead end and straight ahead you see Shyam Sweets.
Like many other outlets here, needles to say, the smell of fried dough and stuffings would make you drool over it. The bedmi poori is accompanied with Aalo sabzi. surprisingly, the poori is not oily at all and the aalo sabzi is a bit spicy and flavourful. I tried the peas kachori as well but the size of the same is small and it is average in taste. Not bad at all though.
TIP: Bedmi poori itself would not be sufficient to fill your stomach so add a glass of lassi (served in khullar) to it. This should be satiating enough. Price: 40/- poori, 40/- lassi !
