Two police officers are injured and one man is on the run after Kambah residents clashed with police on Sunday afternoon.
ACT Policing attended a home on Livingston Avenue shortly before 4pm to arrest a 34-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman on first instance warrants.
Police parked behind a blue Subaru WRX sedan under a car port at the house however the 34-year-old man used the car to ram the police car and a police motorcycle and caused the car port roof to collapse before he fled.
The driver narrowly missed hitting a police officer however police did not pursue the man.
Officers arrested the 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man who lived at the property. During the arrest, two officers were injured. One was taken to Canberra Hospital by paramedics.
The man and the woman will face court on Monday morning.
The woman will appear on a first instance warrant and for failing to appear after a bail undertaking. The man will be charged with knowingly obstructing/resisting a territory public official.
The 34-year-old man is still at large.
Police have described him as of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 168cm, slim build with a shaved head and brown eyes.
