The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy is a large military transport aircraft built by Lockheed. It provides the United States Air Force (USAF) with a heavy intercontinental-range strategic airlift capability, one that can carry outsize and oversize cargos, including all air-certifiable cargo. The Galaxy has many similarities to its smaller C-141 Starlifter predecessor, and the later C-17 Globemaster. The C-5 is among the largest military aircraft in the world.
The C-5 Galaxy had a complicated development; significant cost overruns were experienced and Lockheed suffered significant financial difficulties. Shortly after entering service, fractures in the wings of many aircraft were discovered and the C-5 fleet were restricted in capability until corrective work was conducted. The C-5M Super Galaxy is an upgraded version with new engines and modernized avionics designed to extend its service life beyond 2040.
The C-5 Galaxy has been operated by USAF since 1969. In that time, it has been used to support US military operations in all major conflicts including Vietnam, Iraq, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan; as well as in support of allies, such as Israel during the Yom Kippur War and NATO operations in the Gulf War. The C-5 has also been used to distribute humanitarian aid and disaster relief, and support the US Space Shuttle program run by NASA.

The newer C-5M Super Galaxy has the F-138 GE engines, which unfortunately for aviation fans, don't sound quite as good, and the thrust reversers don't make the same creepy sounds either.

The C-5 Galaxy is one of the largest aircraft in the world and the largest airlifter in the US Air Force inventory. The aircraft can carry a fully equipped combat ready military unit to any point in the world on short notice and then provide the supplies required to help sustain the fighting force.
The new C5M's F-138 GE engines deliver a 22 percent increase in thrust, a 30 percent shorter take-off roll, has a 58 percent faster climb rate and will allow significantly more cargo to be carried over longer distances. With its new engine and other system
upgrades, the RERP modified C-5A/B/Cs become C-5Ms, Super Galaxy.
This modernization program will make the C-5 much quieter and
enhance aircraft reliability and maintainability, maintain structural and system integrity, reduce cost of ownership and increase operational capability.

С истечением короткого времени цена стала ниже и смартфон стал интересен. Дизайн, всё-таки, — дело вкуса. Но с чем невозможно поспорить, так это с его характеристиками и ценой: нет ни единого смартфона с 5.5-дюймовым дисплеем и аналогично хорошим железом, да ещё и за такие деньги! Какие-то смартфоны крупнее и слабее железом, какие-то с меньшим дисплеем и лучшим железом. The new C5M's F-138 GE engines deliver a 22 percent increase in thrust, a 30 percent shorter take-off roll, has a 58 percent faster climb rate and will allow significantly more cargo to be carried over longer distances. With its new engine and other system
upgrades, the RERP modified C-5A/B/Cs become C-5Ms, Super Galaxy.
This modernization program will make the C-5 much quieter and
enhance aircraft reliability and maintainability, maintain structural and system integrity, reduce cost of ownership and increase operational capability.
