WHEN a naked 27-year-old man, holding an unopened can of light beer, was arrested after repeatedly knocking on doors of a unit block, he had an explanation.

When Joshua Ivy was met by deputies from Walton County Sheriff’s Office in Florida his speech was slurred and he appeared extremely drunk.

He could not remember how many alcoholic drinks he had consumed, or where he was staying or how he got into the unit block, but he realised that he was banging on the doors of residents as he was “searching for someone to have sexual intercourse with”, The Smoking Gun reported.

The deputies had been called by two residents from neighbouring units in the Grand Isle Condominiums at Santa Rose Beach, Florida about “a naked white male banging on their windows and doors.”

Ivy, who is from Tennessee, was arrested for disorderly intoxication. He was kept in custody for five hours until bail with a $1000 bond was paid.

As for his clothes, they were found in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
