Exhibitions close 15 minutes prior to Museum closing times.
Closed 24, 25 & 26 December.

Family visits

Visit the V&A for a fun and creative day out for all the family.

Free activities are available every day and special workshops run during school holidays.

Lunch time

Children's meal deals are available in the café. High chairs are provided in the main and Garden Café.

Packed lunches can be eaten in the Learning Centre's Lunchroom on the 3rd floor and the garden.

Toilet facilities

Toilets can be found on levels 0 to 4. Disabled access toilets can be found on levels 1 to 4. Baby changing facilities are found on levels 0, 1, 2, and 4.

Cloakrooms

Cloakrooms can be found in the Grand Entrance and Exhibition Road entrance.

Luggage is charged per item:
£1 - Coats, small bags, umbrellas, child scooters, prams and pushchairs.
£3 - Cabin bags (56cm x 45cm x 21cm).
£5 - Large bags, folding bikes and adult scooters.

Items submitted to the cloakroom less than 30 minutes before the Museum closes will not be accepted.

Maps

Use our interactive map to discover the many treasures in our galleries, find out where events are happening in the Museum or just check the location of the café, shops, lifts or toilets.

Printed maps are available at all entrance points of the Museum, and you can also print a map of the V&A before your visit.

Accessibility

There is full access to the galleries and we have a wide range of services for disabled visitors.

Assistance dogs are welcome. Wheelchairs, walking frames, sound enhancement equipment for guided tours, large print maps and a full access guide to the Museum are available from the information desk in the Grand Entrance.
