In 2006, former Arizona governor Fife Symington admitted to being a witness to Arizona’s most famous UFO sighting, and that he believed it to be of extraterrestrial origins. His statements made worldwide news. In association with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Phoenix Lights UFO event, James Fox, the documentarian that first obtained Symington’s confession shared never before seen footage from the interview during his presentation at the 2016 International UFO Congress. Now, with Fox's permission, we present the interview here for our readers.
In the newly released footage, Symington says he believes the UFO sighting was escalated up the chain of command.
“Issues like this go up the chain of command all the way to the Pentagon,” explains Symington. “We called the Pentagon…I think they knew there had been sightings, but they weren’t talking about it.”
As for the official Air Force response that the UFOs were flares, Symington says that is “total bunk.”
“I have seen high altitude flares before. There is no way they were flares.”
When it comes to what flew over Phoenix in March of 1997, Symington says, “It has never been explained.”
What is now referred to as “The Phoenix Lights,” was a flap of UFO sightings on March 13, 1997. It has kept Arizona buzzing ever since. Over 1000 witnesses reportedly came forward, including former Arizona Governor Fife Symington.
Symington first admitted to seeing the object during this interview with Fox. Fox provided Symington with testimony from several witnesses who were disappointed with the way Symington dealt with the incident in 1997. Symington then admitted to Fox he had also seen the object, and he agreed it was unworldly. Fox was not expecting this response.
After the interview, news of Symington's confession leaked and he was asked to share his experience with CNN and other news outlets.

Symington Family Estates
Symington Family Estates is a wine company and Port wine house in Portugal, which owns and operates several vineyards and wineries and owns several brands of Port, Madeira wine and Douro DOC wines, including some of the oldest and most well-known Port and Madeira brands. With their extensive vineyard holdings and many Port brands, the Symingtons are often described as being a "Port empire".
The companies owned by Symington Family Estates and individual family members together own 27 quintas (estates) in the Alto Douro region, and additionally lease one and operate one as a joint venture. These 25 quintas together have 940 hectares (2,300 acres) of vineyards. Over 70% of the Port wine sold by Symington-owned brands is produced from grapes from these vineyards. Together with these land holdings, the Symingtons are the largest vineyard ownership group in the Douro.
The Symington family are members of the association Primum Familiae Vini.
History
The company was founded by Andrew James Symington who arrived in Oporto from Scotland in 1882, and initially joined Graham's. In 1891 he married Beatrice Atkinson, who was descended from several generations of port wine shippers and producers, the oldest known of which was Walter Maynard, who is known to have shipped port wine already in 1652.

Phoenix Lights
The Phoenix Lights (also identified as "Lights over Phoenix") was an alleged UFO sighting which occurred in Phoenix, Arizona, and Sonora, Mexico on Thursday, March 13, 1997.
Lights of varying descriptions were reported by thousands of people between 19:30 and 22:30 MST, in a space of about 300 miles (480 km), from the Nevada line, through Phoenix, to the edge of Tucson.
There were allegedly two distinct events involved in the incident: a triangular formation of lights seen to pass over the state, and a series of stationary lights seen in the Phoenix area. The United States Air Force later identified the second group of lights as flares dropped by A-10 Warthog aircraft that were on training exercises at the Barry Goldwater Range in southwest Arizona.
Witnesses claim to have observed a huge V-shaped (several football field sized), coherently-moving dark UFO (stars would disappear behind the object and reappear as it passed by), producing no sound, and containing five spherical lights or possibly light-emitting engines. Fife Symington, the governor at the time, was one witness to this incident. As governor he ridiculed the idea of alien origin, but several years later he called the lights he saw "otherworldly" after admitting he saw a similar UFO.

I Shot this 30 second montage on the Panasonic GH2 using the 20mm f1.7 pancake lens and edited in Premiere pro 4. This is just a mix of some footage I recently shot to test exporting with the PANAVISION 2.35:1 format. I used a 1920X800 timeline in the desktop sequence in Premiere Pro 4 and exported with the same settings in Adobe Media Encoder CS4. Colour grading with RGB Curves. 1080p 25fps

Out and about in Mount Buffalo National Park
This is my first time using a Panasonic GH2, so I took my family away for a few days to enjoy North East Victoria and the scenery there. I brought the GH2 last week with the 14-42mm kit lens. I filmed in 1080i and 720p using auto ISO and various other camera settings. I am still just learning how to work with a DSLR as I have always filmed on the Canon XHA1 in the past. No ND filter was used as I only just brought a variable filter after coming back from our holiday. Hope you like it and please do give some feed back as it is always welcome.

In 2006, former Arizona governor Fife Symington admitted to being a witness to Arizona’s most famous UFO sighting, and that he believed it to be of extraterrestrial origins. His statements made worldwide news. In association with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Phoenix Lights UFO event, James Fox, the documentarian that first obtained Symington’s confession shared never before seen footage from the interview during his presentation at the 2016 International UFO Congress. Now, with Fox's permission, we present the interview here for our readers.
In the newly released footage, Symington says he believes the UFO sighting was escalated up the chain of command.
“Issues like this go up the chain of command all the way to the Pentagon,” explains Symington. “We called the Pentagon…I think they knew there had been sightings, but they weren’t talking about it.”
As for the official Air Force response that the UFOs were flares, Symington says that is “total bunk.”
“I have seen high altitude flares before. There is no way they were flares.”
When it comes to what flew over Phoenix in March of 1997, Symington says, “It has never been explained.”

This is just a mix of some footage I recently shot to test exporting with the PANAVISION 2.35:1 format. I used a 1920X800 timeline in the desktop sequence in Premiere Pro 4 and exported with the same settings in Adobe Media Encoder CS4. Colour grading with RGB Curves. 1080p 25fps

We invented the game in 2010 in Spain. What started off as throwing citrus fruit around, finished off as a 5 day tournament with teams, rules, special moves and resulted in 4 people going home with ear infections.
We would like to see more people playing LLCOOLGAME,
* LLCOOLGAME's name is a shortened way of saying 'Lemon-Lime -Cool-Game'. It has the added benefit of sounding a little like the name of a muscular rap-ballad schmoozer from New York.
** YOU WILL NEED A SWIMMING POOL, however the game is pretty flexible and can be adapted to fit most sizes/shapes of pool.
*** TEAM MEMBERS. You don't need to have 4 people for a game. LLCOOLGAME works with various numbers of players. The minimum number is 2 players (one per side). You can even have a different number of players per team, just make sure that the smaller team uses the shallow end of the pool as this gives an advantage. If you only have an Olympic size pool then you're going to need a lot of players.

This is my first time using a Panasonic GH2, so I took my family away for a few days to enjoy North East Victoria and the scenery there. I brought the GH2 last week with the 14-42mm kit lens. I filmed in 1080i and 720p using auto ISO and various other camera settings. I am still just learning how to work with a DSLR as I have always filmed on the Canon XHA1 in the past. No ND filter was used as I only just brought a variable filter after coming back from our holiday. Hope you like it and please do give some feed back as it is always welcome.
