Malou Aamund (born July 28, 1969, in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a former member of the Folketing for the party Venstre. In the parliamentary elections in November 2007, she was elected as a member of the party New Alliance, but changed parties on February 5, 2008.[1]
She is the daughter of corporate manager Asger Aamund and artist Susanne Aamund, and is married to Mikael Bertelsen, who is a television presenter for Danmarks Radio, with whom she has three children. Malou Aamund first became famous for dating Crown Prince Frederik in 1990.[citation needed]
On 4 January 2011, Aamund announced that she is leaving politics to become a sales director at Microsoft Denmark.[2]
