The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a carrier-capable ground-attack aircraft designed for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. The delta winged, single-engined Skyhawk was designed and produced by Douglas Aircraft Company, and later McDonnell Douglas. It was originally designated the A4D under the U.S. Navy's pre-1962 designation system.
The A-4 is a compact, light-weight design with a maximum takeoff weight of 24,500 pounds (11,100 kg) and has a top speed of more than 600 miles per hour (970 km/h).[1] The aircraft's five hardpoints support a variety of missiles, bombs and other munitions and was capable of delivering nuclear weapons using a low altitude bombing system and a "loft" delivery technique. Prior to the A-4E, power was supplied by the Wright J65; with the A-4E, the installed engine became the 9,300-pound-force (41 kN) Pratt & Whitney J52.
Skyhawks played key roles in the Vietnam War, the Yom Kippur War, and the Falklands War. Fifty years after the aircraft's first flight, some of the nearly 3,000 produced remain in service with several air arms around the world, including 12 A-4(9 A-4KU and 3 TA-4KU) that have been modernized (and are scheduled to operate up to 2025[2][3]) for the Brazilian Navy's aircraft carrier, São Paulo.

Why is this the BEST A-4 Compilation....well because there are not any others! =D
Clips are taken from the 2012-2013 Tico Warbird Airshow, and the 2012-2013 Sun N Fun Flyin. They really didn't put on a demo with the A-4 but mainly just flew it around with the other warbirds. Still it was great to see! I hope you enjoyed the video and please Like/Comment/Sub!

The Royal New Zealand Air Force makes one of its last pubic displays of the A4 Skyhawk at the Classic Fighters 2001 airshow, just prior to the disbanding of the Air Force's fighter strike wing.

This Vietnam era sales film for the McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk shows the versatile aircraft's development and unique characteristics. The late model A-4F is seen. This was a refinement of A-4E with extra avionics housed in a hump on the fuselage spine (this feature later retrofitted to A-4Es and some A-4Cs) and more powerful J52-P-8A engine with 9,300 lbf (41 kN) of thrust, later upgraded in service to J52-P-408 with 11,200 lbf (50 kN), 147 built. Some served with Blue Angels acrobatic team from 1973 to 1986. The film shows the A-4M at the 4 minute mark; but at the time of the film's release it may have not yet been in production.

This Vietnam era sales film for the McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk shows the versatile aircraft's development and unique characteristics. The late model A-4F is seen. The Skyhawk remained in production until 1979, with 2,960 aircraft built, including 555 two-seat trainers. The last production A-4, an A-4M of Marine squadron (VMA-331) had the flags of all nations that operated the A-4 painted on its fuselage sides. Clips are taken from the 2012-2013 Tico Warbird Airshow, and the 2012-2013 Sun N Fun Flyin. They really didn't put on a demo with the A-4 but mainly just flew it around with the other warbirds. Still it was great to see! I hope you enjoyed the video and please Like/Comment/Sub!

This Vietnam era sales film for the McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk shows the versatile aircraft's development and unique characteristics. The late model A-4F is seen. This was a refinement of A-4E with extra avionics housed in a hump on the fuselage spine (this feature later retrofitted to A-4Es and some A-4Cs) and more powerful J52-P-8A engine with 9,300 lbf (41 kN) of thrust, later upgraded in service to J52-P-408 with 11,200 lbf (50 kN), 147 built. Some served with Blue Angels acrobatic team from 1973 to 1986. The film shows the A-4M at the 4 minute mark; but at the time of the film's release it may have not yet been in production.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a single seat carrier-capable attack aircraft developed for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. The delta winged, single-engined Skyhawk was designed and produced by Douglas Aircraft Company, and later by McDonnell Douglas. It was originally designated A4D under the U.S. Navy's pre-1962 designation system.
The Skyhawk is a lightweight aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 24,500 pounds (11,100 kg) and has a top speed of more than 600 miles per hour (970 km/h). The aircraft's five hardpoints support a variety of missiles, bombs and other munitions and were capable of delivering nuclear weapons using a low altitude bombing system and a "loft" delivery technique. The A-4 was originally powered by the Wright J65 turbojet engine; from the A-4E onwards, the Pratt & Whitney J52 was used.
Skyhawks played key roles in the Vietnam War, the Yom Kippur War, and the Falklands War. Sixty years after the aircraft's first flight, some of the nearly 3,000 produced remain in service with several air arms around the world, including from the Brazilian Navy's aircraft carrier, São Paulo.
The Skyhawk remained in production until 1979, with 2,960 aircraft built, including 555 two-seat trainers. The last production A-4, an A-4M of Marine squadron (VMA-331) had the flags of all nations that operated the A-4 painted on its fuselage sides.

Canada's Wonderland is a 330-acre (130 ha) theme park located in Vaughan, Ontario, a suburb approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of downtown Toronto. Opened in 1981 by the Taft Broadcasting Company and The Great-West Life Assurance Company as the first major theme park in Canada, it remains the country's largest.[3][4] The park was owned by Paramount Parks from 1993 to 2006 when it was known as Paramount Canada's Wonderland. Cedar Fair purchased the park in 2006 dropping Paramount from the title. Canada's Wonderland has been the most visited seasonal amusement park in North America for several consecutive years. In 2014, it was the second most visited park in the Cedar Fair chain, behind Knott's Berry Farm, with approximately 3.5 million visitors.
Canada's Wonderland is open daily from May to September, and then only on weekends through early November.
