Whispertown is the indie project of Morgan Nagler from Los Angeles, California, formerly known as The Whispertown 2000. They have toured with several prominent indie artists in the past few years, including Bright Eyes, Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis, The Breeders, She & Him, Maria Taylor, Johnathan Rice, Margot & the Nuclear So and So's and The Elected.
Morgan Nagler – Lead Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter
A native of Oregon who grew up in Los Angeles, Nagler met and befriended fellow former child actor, Blake Sennett, in the mid-1990s. Soon after he and Jenny Lewis formed the band Rilo Kiley in 1998, Nagler also began writing songs and singing. In 2004, Nagler performed her songs before a live audience (with help from friend Tod Adrian Wisenbaker) as the opening act for The Elected (Blake Sennett's side project from Rilo Kiley). At that time, she referred to herself as Vagtown2000. Nagler credits Sennett and Lewis for giving her the support to record and perform her own songs. In 2005, Nagler and Wisenbaker changed the name of their group to Whispertown 2000 and asked Corbala and Maloney to join. During the fall 2006 tour, Casey Wisenbaker (Tod's brother) also joined the band. Maloney parted ways with the band in 2007.
2000 (MM) was a century leap year starting on Saturday (dominical letter BA) of the Gregorian calendar, the 2000th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 1000th and last year of the 2nd millennium, the 100th and last year of the 20th century, and the 1st year of the 2000s decade.
2000 was designated as:
Popular culture holds the year 2000 as the first year of the 21st century and the 3rd millennium due to a tendency of grouping the years according to decimal values, as if year zero were counted. According to the Gregorian Calendar, these distinctions fall to the year 2001 because the 1st century was retroactively said to start with year AD 1. Since the calendar does not have year zero, its first millennium spanned from years 1 to 1000 inclusively and its second millennium from years 1001 to 2000 (See more at Millennium).
The year 2000 is sometimes abbreviated as "Y2K" (the "Y" stands for "year", and the "K" stands for "kilo" which means "thousand"). The year 2000 was the subject of Y2K concerns, which are fears that computers would not shift from 1999 to 2000 correctly. However, by the end of 1999, many companies had already converted to new, or upgraded, existing software. Some even obtained Y2K certification. As a result of massive effort, relatively few problems occurred.
A Dream may refer to:
In a Dream is a documentary film by Jeremiah Zagar that premiered on March 9, 2008 at the South by Southwest film festival. Its broadcast premiere was August 19, 2009 on HBO.
In a Dream is a documentary about Philadelphia-based artist Isaiah Zagar that was filmed and directed by his son, Jeremiah. Isaiah is famous for his complex, highly detailed mosaics, which cover 50,000 square feet (4,600 m2) of South Philly with elaborate designs made from tiles and mirror pieces. These mosaics chronicle his relationship with his wife, Julia, and make him a dominant figure in the city’s arts scene. Zagar reveals many personal details of his life during the film, including revelations about his childhood and the existence of an adulterous relationship that threatens to tear his family apart.
The film was shot between 2001 and 2008 and utilizes a variety of film and video formats – 8 mm, 16 mm and 35 mm as well as Hi-Def and Digital Video.
In A Dream features music by the Books, Explosions In The Sky, Efterklang, Colleen, Bibio and an original score by Kelli Scarr.

"Merriam-Webster defines parallel as, "extending in the same direction, everywhere equidistant, and not meeting." The luscious and expansive song, "Parallel," from Morgan Nagler's indie project Whispertown and the accompanying music video both explore the term in magnificent ways. The video, made from creative commons videos on YouTube edited together by Morgan Nagler's brother ...illustrates the concept of parallel by showing a myriad of different scenarios that mimic each other. It's a bit of magic, really. ...The music video may zoom out to incredibly large scales but Morgan Nagler says the song had very personal beginnings: "I wrote 'Parallel' as almost an open letter to my dear friend Jenny Lewis." Later she realized it had many meanings: "The further you get from it, it reveals itse...
This edition of RWR had glitches in the edit. The crappy iPhone changes the capture rate during recording so the sound and vision just won't sync. Nevertheless I feel I am not going to redo this chapter. So here it is, in non binaural audio on the B sides page. I also ramble about drug laws in relation to prohibition. I talk in French in some of this so sorry if you don't speak French. Be good, My little Pukkos.
What is Town of Salem? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The aim of the game changes with various roles. Generally the game splits into three different teams: Town, Mafia and Neutral. The goal of the Town (also known as Townies) is to kill all the Mafia, and other hostile Neutrals, such as the Serial Killer or Arsonist. The Mafia's aim is to kill all the Townies, and any hostile Neutrals. The Neutrals have a variety of goals relating to their individual roles - generally, they don't have a particular side. Deception is a massive part of controlling and winning the game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://town-of-salem.wikia.com/wiki/Town_of_Salem_Wiki:Main_P...

Restless, sweet, restless, young, restless, old soul
breathless, sweet, breathless, young, breathless, old soul
heart to beat, I got a hole to breathe
you need a wrinkle in my time
tug at my sleeve, I got a heart that leaves
just like the winter do to trees
one foot in the grave but I got two foot on the pavement yeah
just like the trees do come springtime
one foot in the grave but I got two foot on the pavement yeah
restless, sweet, reckless, you're reckless on me
let this, sweet, let this, please, let this gain speed
mouth to feed, I got a garden of green
just like a grapevine don't get wine
but I'm ‘onna ride the breeze, I'll be an anti-disease
just like the trees do come springtime
one foot in the grave but I got two foot on the pavement yeah
I don't wanna believe what they say ‘bout growin' old
I don't wanna believe what they say
I know one foot on the grave but I got two foot on the pavement
yeah, uh huh
