Richard from Houseguard did a great job at our home. I ordered the Termite inspection with pest control. He was able to accommodate me to get this completed before Christmas. He talked me through the process before starting, along the way and did a thorough job inside and outside. He was also mindful of our kids and pets to make sure they were not affected by the process. He didn't find any issues with termites (thank goodness) and the inspection gave me piece of mind. Richard had the latest gadgets to detect heat and moisture, things that could be a sign of pest issues. He also told me he couldn't find any problems with water leakage around the bathrooms and sinks! That's an unexpected value added service for the bucks. The price was very good and I received a written warranty on the pest control and full inspection report. Overall - A+ effort!

Termite inspection for a average size house is $220.00 inc GST, for every thing else call or email for a quote

If we are doing a termite barrier treatment you may want to help with the drilling and digging to save some money

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
What and where is the problem/s located and past history depending on the service you require, we may have to move furniture or stored items for access to be thorough, you may have to empty SOME cupboards.

Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
Yes fully insured for timber pest including pre-purchase inspections and general pest control, licensed with QLD Health and QBCC[formerly BSA]

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
When you phone or email you only deal with me[Richard] and should i get held up on a job with a problem i will always call you and let you know why, I dont want to turn up late to an angry customer just as if your circumstances change you can call me and we can adjust to suit.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
By accident, a mate rang and said he was doing his pest control license and i should go to. So off to Ithaca tafe i went in 1997 and have been doing this ever since, I enjoy going to different places and meeting people every day
