Any information you choose to supply us with will be treated with the strictest confidence in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Information may be stored on a computer database and used to keep you informed of MK news, campaign and other opportunities to support the Party.
We will not share the information you've given us with any other groups or organisations without your explicit permission.

Our site contains links to other sites. Mebyon Kernow is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

Un-Anonymised IP Addresses

An IP Address is a number which can be used to identify the internet connection assigned to a device accessing our website.

We will only record your un-anonymised IP Address if you are logged in, or attempt to log in.

We record the addresses of devices attempting to log in or make changes to the website to help to make sure no malicious changes are being made. We do not use these addresses for any other purpose.

We will not share your un-anonymised IP Address with anyone else, unless required by law.
Un-anonymised IP Addresses are stored for a maximum of 30 days before being automatically deleted.

Open Web Analytics

Like most other websites, we use Analytics software to gather data about how visitors use our website. This helps us to understand what visitors are looking for when they visit our website and how we can improve it even further.

The software we use is called Open Web Analytics (OWA).

The data we gather is not personally identifiable and can only be accessed by the Mebyon Kernow website team.

• Country. This is determined by your IP Address (see above) but is anonymised before storage to protect your privacy.
• If you visited the website via a search engine, OWA may record the name of the search engine and the search term.
• If you visited the website via a link, OWA may record the name of the website that you've come from.
