“It is with regret that Mebyon Kernow – the Party for Cornwall will not be putting forward any candidates for the 2017 General Election, which will take place on 8th June."

In a local election campaign dominated by the start of a General Election, all four MK Cornwall Councillors have been re-elected to serve another term at “County Hall.” Indeed, in an election which saw the Green Party and UKIP lose their only seats in Cornwall, MK was the only political party not to lose a seat or seats to the Conservatives.
As campaigning for the local elections enters its final few days, Mebyon Kernow has appealed to voters to focus on local issues when they cast their votes on Thursday 4th May.
