‘The Roman Catholic Church is headed by a mediocre Bavarian bureaucrat once tasked with the concealment of the foulest iniquity, whose ineptitude in that job now shows him to us as a man personally and professionally responsible for enabling a filthy wave of crime. Ratzinger himself may be banal, but his whole career has the stench of evil—a clinging and systematic evil that is beyond the power of exorcism to dispel. What is needed is not medieval incantation but the application of justice—and speedily at that.’ Christopher Hitchins. March 2010 www.slate.com/id/8224761

“Why then do we not bomb the Vatican and obliterate Italy for harbouring this criminal mastermind, this known protector of evil predators? Why do we not pursue him through the sewers of Europe and riddle his corpse with bullets?” Bob Ellis. ABC Australia blog. www.abc.net.au/

Patrick Kielty, the host of the Channel 4 ‘comedy’ show, Stand up for the Week (23rd July 2010) made a series of offensive references to Pope Benedict and his visit to the UK.
Mr Kielty made the following insulting remarks in front of a photograph of the Holy Father:
“If you want to see a once in a lifetime spectacle and you’re happy to over look the kiddie fiddling this is the gig for you”.
“Robbie this week says he’s excited about going back on the road because he misses the boys which is, funny enough, exactly the same reason that the pope gave for going on tour.”
“Tickets for the pope are actually on sale OK. They’re priced at £25, £10 and I shit you not, kids are free. You couldn’t make this up”

“Apparently the pope is a big fan of Susan Boyle. Apparently he admires her determination and her self-belief. Let’s be honest if you’re a former member of the Hitler Youth and the head of one of the world’s biggest paedophile rings and you think you’re getting into heaven I reckon its not Susan’s self-belief that should be admired. What makes you think you stand a chance of getting into heaven popey?”

‘The arrest of the Pope is morally the right thing to do, as this man is responsible for the systemic covering up of a worldwide network of child rape. But in summary, UK law is being changed so that a delusional, homophobic man who shelters rapists and sadists is not held to account when he visits the UK.’ Adam Wilcox on www.liberalconspiracy.org

He also stood by claims that Catholics were vermin who bred like rabbits, he said: “I don’t think that it’s wrong to say that the Roman Catholic Church did believe that they [adherents] should have very large families. And large Roman Catholic families were brought into existence simply because of that.” Paisley quoted in Irish Voice 3 July 2010.

If you do have a desire to go to jail for secularism, could you do something that cant  be easily twisted by the media, something thats gets the point across.  Throwing a fist could have you dismissed as a thug, throwing a used bloody condom would make the point about the pope’s role in death for africa.’ Comment on RationalSkepticism.org. “The Catholic Church: they hate women and gays, and fuck kids. On a day-to-day level, that’s a tough sell.” Times newspaper columnist Caitlin Moran posted on her Tweet site on July 15th 2010. http://twitter.com/caitlinmoran

Protect the Pope has decided to post a link to the Youtube site because it has been produced by a comedian who is popular among sections of young people. The cartoon and ‘comedy’ format would appeal to young people. It not only obscenely insults the Holy Father, but also makes obscene references to Our Lord and Our Lady.  This extreme example of anti-Catholicism has had nearly 450,000 hits (July 2010)  since it was released in April 2010. Protect the Pope.com recommends that you only view this if you are researching the nature and content of anti-Catholicism.

“On Arresting the Pope. There is serious evidence here suggesting the Pope is guilty of some horrendous crimes. These crimes include hiding pedophiles, which directly resulted in hundreds or thousands of rapes across several countries. The Pope, if guilty, would clearly be classified as an horrible International criminal, and deserve a long prison term. Clarke doesn’t care! He is pulling out all the stops so a known criminal can go unpunished.” Post on American Athiests at Athiests.org (2 August 2010).

‘I think that we need an atheist “pope” for the online atheist community. A figurehead who could visit the Vatican and debate the head of the pederast cult, drive around in a black atheist pope mobile with a crimson A on it, make outlandish statements and wear a cape.’ Posted by Judas in the Thinking Atheist Foundation blog. 5 August 2010.
