EU requested to establish national surveillance units to monitor citizens suspected of “intolerance”

The European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation (ECTR), comprising former heads of state and government leaders, has requested that the EU establishes national surveillance units to monitor citizens suspected of “intolerance”. European Dignity Watch, a civil rights watchdog group based in Brussels, has warned that this directive “aims to impose governmental control over the social and economic behavior of citizens in the widest possible sense.” This sinister proposal to establish national surveillance units to monitor citizens suspected of “intolerance” has to be considered a serious threat to our freedom of religion and freedom of expression because it comes from former heads of state and government leaders and not some fringe extremist group of gay and secular lobbyists. If these proposals become law in the European Union then Catholics who uphold the teachings of the Church about the family and sexuality would be unjustly branded as ‘intolerant’ and subject to surveillance and punitive action by the state. Protect the Pope looks forward to reading the Conference of European Bishops response to this unprecedented threat to the Faith in Europe. . . . → Read More: EU requested to establish national surveillance units to monitor citizens suspected of “intolerance”

Shame Catholic schools are abandoning section 28 type policies about homosexuality due to pressure from Humanists

Catholic schools are abandoning sections of their Sex and Relationship Education policies under pressure from the British Humanist Association who have accused them of promoting section 28 type policies about homosexuality. The British Humanist Association, led by the homosexual Andrew Copson, has complained to the Department of Education. Every Catholic school in the UK should, of course, have SRE policies that are based on the Church’s doctrine on sexual ethics and the sacrament of marriage, as expressed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This, of course, means that all Catholic schools are prohibited by the Church’s doctrine from promoting homosexuality or publish material with the intention of promoting homosexuality’ and from promoting the teaching in any maintained school of the acceptability of homosexuality as a pretended family relationship.’ Though our schools don’t need to refer to section 28, they do need to maintain the prohibitions expressed by section 28, irrespective of the Department of Education’s pressure to enforce legal compliance. This is obvious, but regrettably needs stating based on the track record of our Catholic institutions to compromise and capitulate at the first sign of trouble. Haven’t they got it yet, Catholic schools are in big trouble. . . . → Read More: Shame Catholic schools are abandoning section 28 type policies about homosexuality due to pressure from Humanists

Muslim Brotherhood parade nuns through the streets like prisoners of war after attack on Franciscan school

The Muslim Brotherhood have paraded three nuns through the streets like prisoners of war and sexually assaulted their lay colleagues after attacking and burning a Franciscan school. The attack on the Franciscan nuns, the sexual assault on the staff of the school, and the burning of the 115 year old Franciscan school that taught Muslim and Christian children occurred in a Muslim Brotherhood stronghold. This attack on defenseless nuns and teachers is a consequence of Sheikh Yusif al-Qaradawi’s incitement of his followers to retaliate against the Christians. And still the BBC are portraying the Muslims Brotherhood as the victims of the violence in Egypt, when they are attacking and sexually assaulting women who have dedicated their lives to the education of Muslims and Christians. Shame on the BBC the British press. Fox News and Huffington Post have reported this attack on nuns but as yet none of the British media. . . . → Read More: Muslim Brotherhood parade nuns through the streets like prisoners of war after attack on Franciscan school

Pope Francis was warned about schisms within the Church fomented by priests and the infiltration of evil

There can be no doubt that Cardinal Grech’s warning about schisms being caused in the Church by two groups of priests includes the priests of the SSPX and the priests led by Fr Helmut Schüller and the Austrian Priests initiative and their ‘Call to Disobedience’. Both groups of priests are breaking the communion of the Church through their disobedience and misreading the signs of the times. The priests leading A Call to Action in this country should also pay heed to Cardinal Grech’s warning because even though he emphasizes the need for unity not uniformity, he is clear that proposals on the future of the Church must be ‘in line with that “depositum fidei” which the pontiff together with all of the bishops has the task of guarding.’ A Call to Actions demands for married priests, women priests, and radical changes to the Church’s doctrine on sexual morality are definitely not in line with the ‘depositum fidei’. . . . → Read More: Pope Francis was warned about schisms within the Church fomented by priests and the infiltration of evil

BBC considers dropping the Bible from a flagship radio series due to complaints from secularists

It comes as no surprise that the BBC is considering dropping the Bible from one of its flagship radio shows, and they expect us to believe their reassurances to the contrary. The BBC is in the vanguard of institutions seeking to create a secular culture that denies the Christian foundations of the United Kingdom. Terry Sanderson, gay president of the National Secular Society, will only be satisfied when all signs of Christianity are expunged from the public arena. He and other secularists perpetuate the myth that the BBC is a bastion of Christianity, when this is obvious nonsense, because he seeks a cover of words to hide his true purpose, driving Christianity into the private sphere, hidden away behind the walls of its churches and homes. And the BBC listens to him because he has the golden ticket of being a homosexual, a secularist, and a vocal member of the liberal establishment, despite the fact that the National Secular Society has a minuscule membership compared to the faith communities of this county. . . . → Read More: BBC considers dropping the Bible from a flagship radio series due to complaints from secularists

Irish Independent newspaper publishes an ad hominem attack on Fr Doran for defending the right of Catholic hospitals not to kill babies

The Irish Independent has published Liam Fay’s ad hominem attack on Fr Doran ridiculing his defence of the right of Catholic hospitals not to kill babies as mandated by Enda Kenny’s abortion law. The Irish Independent also goes on to attack Catholic hospitals. Liam Fay is a lapsed Catholics who makes his living mocking the Catholic Faith with books such as ‘Beyond Belief: A Mind-Blowing Pilgrimage Through Religious Ireland’. Fay is labouring under the delusion that the Irish government’s passing of an immoral law will change the absolute truth that intentionally killing an innocent human being is murder no matter how you dress it up with fine words. It’s also derisory that Fay defends the elected representatives who voted for abortion when many of them were drunk during the all night debate. . . . → Read More: Irish Independent newspaper publishes an ad hominem attack on Fr Doran for defending the right of Catholic hospitals not to kill babies

Pro abortion thugs violate the Mass and destroy parts of Santiago Cathedral on the Feast of St James

Pro-abortion protesters in Texas recently shouted in public ‘Hail Satan’ and now pro-abortion protesters in Santiago have violated the Mass and desecrated Santiago Cathedral on the Feast of St James. This attack on Catholics during the Mass is outrageous, but it shouldn’t surprise us because those who promote the killing of unborn babies will hate the Catholic Church for her outspoken defense of the sanctity of human life. Chile is blessed with a president who is such a staunch defender of the rights to life of unborn children. President Sebastián Piñera had the courage and conviction to support a 11 year old rape survivor’s decision to give birth to the baby conceived during the sexual assault by her mother’s partner. President Piñera rightly praised the girl for her “depth and maturity”. Chile has the enviable pro-life reputation of banning the killing of unborn babies through abortion. The Chilean Senate rejected three bills last year that would have eased the absolute ban on abortion. The pro-abortion industry and their political stooges will have their sights on Chile now that Ireland has legalised the killing of babies. St Iago pray for us. . . . → Read More: Pro abortion thugs violate the Mass and destroy parts of Santiago Cathedral on the Feast of St James

Enda Kenny says he’s a staunch Catholic, a regular Mass goer and legalising abortion was ‘a good thing’

There you have it bishops, Enda Kenny is throwing the Catholic Church’s doctrine on the sanctity of the lives of unborn babies back in your faces. He’s told the world that he thinks that his abortion law is a good thing and is the absolutely right thing to do. Your explanations of Evangelium Vitae and your ‘Choose Life’ campaign have not made a blind bit of difference. Enda Kenny has told the whole of Ireland that he remains a staunch Catholic and that he intends to regularly present himself to receive Holy Communion. He also thinks you haven’t got the courage or the conviction to publicly pronounce the truth that he and the other pro-abort TDs have excommunicated themselves. My Lords, have you got the courage and the conviction to do what he dismisses out of hand or has Enda Kenny got the measure of you all? . . . → Read More: Enda Kenny says he’s a staunch Catholic, a regular Mass goer and legalising abortion was ‘a good thing’

The ‘Anonymous’ anarchist group threatens protests against Pope Francis and World Youth Day

The ‘Anonymous’ anarchist group has used facebook to threaten protests against Pope Francis and World Youth Day, using the excuse of the cost of Brazil hosting WYD, completely ignoring the fact that Madrid WYD brought more income into Spain than the cost of hosting the event. But Anonymous and the world’s media won’t be interested in the inconvenient truth that Madrid WYD made a massive return from their investment of € 60 million in hosting WYD. Anonymous are being ‘economical with the truth’ when they claim that their protest is nothing about religion but is about ‘public spending’. It’s all about the Catholic Church and Anonymous’ hostility to us, which they partially admit in their contradictory facebook statement that also claims their protest is about making Brazil a ‘secular state’. May God protect Pope Francis and the young people attending WYD. . . . → Read More: The ‘Anonymous’ anarchist group threatens protests against Pope Francis and World Youth Day

The BBC justifies its lack of impartiality about Christianity with the excuse ‘its not a perfect world’

The BBC Trust’s review of impartiality in news and factual output, set out in its report ‘A BBC Trust Review of the Breadth of Opinion Reflected in the BBC’s Output’, admits that it lacks impartiality about Christianity but goes on to justify it with the excuse ‘its not a perfect world’ and concludes by inventing a special class of impartiality for BBC journalists covering Christianity, ‘Due Impartiality’. This appears to be BBC code for ‘not even trying to be impartial’. . . . → Read More: The BBC justifies its lack of impartiality about Christianity with the excuse ‘its not a perfect world’
