Australian model and TV presenter Jesinta Campbell and Sydney Swans star Lance 'Buddy' Franklin tied the knot in an ultra-private ceremony on Friday.
The couple announced the nuptials on Instagram, after Campbell promptly changed her username to @jesinta_franklin.
The bride wore a full-skirted Vera Wang gown with cathedral veil – perhaps inspired by her front-row appearance at the label's ready-to-wear show at New York Fashion Week earlier this year.
The groom wore a suit by Hugo Boss.
The wedding is the culmination of a busy year for the couple, who were expected to wed last year but reportedly postponed the nuptials after Franklin was forced to take time out from football to be treated for mental illness.
Campbell stood by Franklin throughout the ordeal, hitting back at unproven claims of drug and alcohol abuse as well as cheating allegations.
"Rumours are rumours for a reason and you're all reporters so if you actually want to report on anything of substance and I'm sure you'll actually be interested to know that two in three adults in Australia and one in four children in Australia suffer with obesity and overweight issues," she told reporters in September 2015, adding that her fiance was doing "great" and had lots of "support" around him.
The Swans star made a spectacular comeback, cementing his place as one of AFL's million-dollar men.
Campbell has also been busy in 2016, maintaining a heavy schedule as a model and David Jones brand ambassador, while also penning her her first book, Live A Beautiful Life.
In July, the former Miss Universe Australia laughed off pregnancy rumours after being pictured in a "billowing" top and puffy jacket that generated 'What are you trying to hide?' headlines.
Campbell and Franklin became engaged in December 2014, after dating for over two years.
The pair made their public debut on the 2013 Spring Racing circuit. They were recently spotted on the red carpet of the Sydney Swans' Brownlow Medal function, which was held north of the border to allow the team to continue training for their upcoming, and eventually unsuccessful, grand final.
