The Troll Under the Bridge

Seattle Community Network (SCN) is a free public-access computer network. We have been privileged to partner with the Seattle Public Library from our beginnings in 1994. SCN was originally a project of the Seattle Chapter of Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility (CPSR).

In 1995 the Seattle Community Network Association (SCNA) was incorporated as a separate non-profit organization.
SCN is an all-volunteer organization. Our primary source of funds are the contributions made by our donors. SCNA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you'd like to volunteer with SCN check out our Volunteers page.

Sites to See

Some SCN sites that we would like to feature and share with you, our visitors and members.

Hiking Cedar Butte

Located near North Bend, this site provides some interesting information for all you hikers now that the weather has turned nice.

Floating Bridge Press

Floating Bridge Press is a 501(c)(3) non-profit literary arts organization, founded in 1994. Our mission is to recognize and promote the work of Washington State poets, through an annual Poetry Chapbook Award; the production of archival-quality chapbooks, anthologies, and broadsides; as well as community poetry readings.

We hope you enjoy your visit and welcome any suggestions as to other SCN sites you would like to see featured.
