About Eye Pharma
Eye Pharma was founded in 1998 as partner of Alcon Italy for the distribution of ophthalmic surgical products. Currently, Eye Pharma is an important player in the market of ophthalmic surgical products in Italy being the main distributor of Alcon’s ophthalmic products to over 50 eye medical centers.
Since its inception, Eye Pharma has gained invaluable experiences and skills in the diagnostic and surgical sectors and has succeeded in positioning itself in the Italian market of ophthalmic products. These important achievements has motived Eye Pharma in 2006 to design an Eye Pharma product line for the prevention and treatment of some chronic degenerative pathologies whose incidence is increasing and for which a preventive therapy is possible (diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and so on).
Currently, Eye Pharma products are distributed in more than 5,000 drug stores throughout Italy. Thought the years Eye Pharma has built its image around its main strengths: innovation and technology becoming a reference point for ophthalmology, one of the oldest medical and surgical fields.
