A 20-year-old woman has been charged with murder after police found her mother's body in a home at The Gap last week.
The daughter of Macedonian cleaner Radica Zafirovska, 56, who was found bludgeoned to death last week, had been remanded in custody late on Thursday as Queensland Police detectives and members of the Homicide Investigation Unit investigated.
She was due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
The bloodied body of Ms Zafirovska was found in her home on Friday after her daughter Simona raised the alarm.
